There is no reason to move to Luanda other than money. I lived in Luanda for a year. People in our office were robbed a countless number of times. I was dosed at a bar in a robbery attempt. Two of our co-workers were murdered while I was there. That said, Angolans are generally very hospitable. I have never seen a place where people shared food so regularly. It was a beautiful thing.

I'm curious, did your Portuguese improve? My partner has asked me to move there, I'm South African. One thing that definitely frustrates me is not being able to communicate and hear what they are saying. I'm a social person, so I really suffer when I'm there😂😢
