The first dilemma where the boyfriend has never bought his gf a gift, never pays for dinner, let’s her pay for dinner and let’s her buy plane tickets to see him while she’s a student and he doesn’t contribute anything, I’m sorry how are there women in the world accepting this kind of behaviour?? And staying in a relationship with this kind of basic cheap man actually blows my mind! I’m sorry but that women needs to seriously value herself more, this is beyond embarrassing for the both of them, embarrassing that he is that cheap and tacky and embarrassing that she would even be in a relationship with this type of man.

Admittedly it’s hearing money stories like this that makes me realise I take my Brian for granted sometimes. We’ve been together for over 10 years and he always pays, there’s obviously been times where I’ve paid but he always feels guilty and wants to pay me back🤣 we’ve never split anything and he’s always treating me🥺 we love princess treatment

The last story is weird af…he traveled for work & work didn’t pay for it? My husband travels for work often in different jobs, he’s never paid out of pocket for it. Plus, if he’s working how is he so in debt & has no money? Where is his pay?! She needs to block him on all & move on.

We were a 60/40 house hold until I had a baby, now he pays for all the bills, dates & holidays! Works well for us- we really enjoy having very “fixed” stereotypical gender roles (SAHM & provider man). Surprised us both but we feel more attracted to each other since 100%! I’m in my feminine energy (as a previous independent boss babe) and it’s allowed him to feel more masculine!
also to get a holiday visa in Australia you have to show a bank statement to prove that you can sustain yourself so the last guy is deffo a swindler. A guy I was with would pay for everything except my train ticket which obviously makes sense, he would buy food, bus fare and even said to me to pick stuff up I want, he brought me pads for me and some toiletries, I tried gave him £20 as I felt bad for using his food he didn’t want to take it but did and used it on food for me, I think it’s a cultural thing he’s from Kashmir
