As she said, each area/jurisdiction is different. We can't have bunk beds in Maryland- not even for our own biological or adopted kids. They can't be in the house period reason being risk of falling. Some counties/states don't allow bassinets, pack n play or mini crib. Full size crib only. Thankfully, we can use all of these.

As the kids get bigger the house seems to feel smaller 🤣

Can we talk tax returns...I'm getting mixed answers everywhere ..yes you can claim...to no you can't...not if bio parents file first...not if placed by a state agency and you received a Foster care stipend...do you have any insight?

This is a great question! I'll try to address it in a future video, but the basic is that you should be able to claim, but unfortunately if the parents do claim first, they may audit you or the biological parents or even both of you. I believe it's as long as they were in your home for 6 months and a day. As long as you have had them in your care more than anyone else for that year. I will definitely look into getting a professional to speak on the subject in a video coming up in the future ♥️. But, yeah, we filed for them every time assuming the child was in our care for most of the year.

Is this something you should ask before classes?
