Book of Mormon DNA evidence is getting stronger and stronger. Many Native Americans have a DNA type known as mitochondrial DNA haplogroup X, specifically mtDNA X2a. This video shows that haplogroup X DNA originated in the Middle East. This DNA type provides evidence for the truthfulness and historicity of the Book of Mormon.
My book on DNA and the Book of Mormon is called "Face of a Nephite" and may be found here: www.digitalege...
I like to provide evidence supporting the Book of Mormon, focusing on DNA evidence, archaeological evidence, Native American artifacts, and investigating the ancient Native American Hopewell culture that was centered in Ohio in Book of Mormon timeframes. I prefer the Heartland location for the geography of the Book of Mormon but lean towards Ohio as the location for Zarahemla. I also value evidence regarding Hebrew (Israelite) influence in Mesoamerica and evidence for the peopling of the Americas.
This channel produces faithful Latter-Day Saint content which will appeal to and overlap some with other faithful LDS videos from similar RU-vid channels such as Cwic Media, Ward Radio, The Stick of Joseph, Book of Mormon Evidence, Thoughtful Faith, Ancient Answers, Scripture Central, Book of Mormon Central, Watcher Palmer, Latter-Day Media, Joseph Smith Foundation, Christian Homestead, Hidden in the Heartland, David Lindsley Studio, Heartland Research Group, The Last Dispensation, and Book of Mormon Heartland. Physical evidence is a great way to to start. I pray that you have received a witness of the Holy Ghost to seal and confirm your findings. Mankind may change their POV from time to time. Sometimes these chances are correct and sometimes mistakes are made. However the Holy Ghost holds the title of God. And God is never mistaken. Ask as written in Moroni 10 verses 3 -5.❤😊

This makes sense to me, because Joseph married an Egyptian woman. Her mitochondrial DNA would have passed down from mother to daughter. I love this! I’ve been saying we need to focus on the Egyptian blood line for years. Thank you
@jamessatterlee
@jamessatterlee 4 месяца назад
I’m afraid you’re incorrect… While her sons, Ephraim and Manasseh would have indeed carried her mitochondrial DNA, they would not have passed on the same mitochondrial to any of their children, since only women pass it onto their children. That means that Asenath’s maternal Line would have died out with her two boys, unless there are other children that we don’t know about. Even still, we don’t know if any of Lehi, Mulek, or any other colonies, for that matter would’ve carried mitochondrial DNA directly from Asenath herself. On the other hand… Hear from him, and Asa would have passed on their Y chromosome to their direct male line descendants. The question then becomes…did Lehi have Josephite Y chromosome DNA, or was he an actual direct male line descendent of Joseph in the first place? Was his mail lineage Egyptian rather than Israelite? Were he, Ishmael, or any of Mulek’s colony descendants of the Gyptian men who married an Israelite woman, who from point in time had direct mail in the sentence that were considered to be Israelites?

I’m White from a country called Wales in the U.K. with a population of 3 million. My maternal mitochondrial DNA is X2b, which is rare for Britain, but exceedingly rare in Wales. According to 23andMe, I am closely related to the modern day Druze in Northern Israel and Southern Lebanon. In my father’s side, I am 0.3% Arabic, Egyptian & Levantine. My family name is Grant, and I have links to Scotland. My theory in regard to the X haplogroup, it’s a very peculiar haplogroup. I believe Phoenicia had a part to play in regard to my ancestry as trade between the Middle East and Britain was prominent. Thanks for your video.

My hypothesis is that the reconstruction of the haplogroup timelines are distorted because there is a defect in the error correction mechanisms withi the L haplogroup that mean that it has double the usual mutation rate. This affects where the origin point is found. But it is a while since I looked at any of the literature. I guess there is a lot more information now.

It's fascinating to watch the science gradually shifting to support the Book of Mormon more and more. Of the original twenty-five or so anachronistic complaints against the BOM, over 2/3 have already been resolved by archaeological discoveries and the few remaining are slowly disappearing as well. Speaking from a purely scientific perspective, given the existing evidence, the BOM is not only plausible, but highly likely to be authentic.

There is also a Haplogroup H found possibly in the Texas and in Puerto Rico, so by the Caribbean. Haplogroup H has ties to the Middle East as well. But here are the sources for the H haplogroups in Puerto Rico "Ancient DNA Reconstructs the Genetic Legacies of Precontact Puerto Rico Communities". The H haplogroup for this article is not linked in the article itself but is in the supplementary material at the end. These sources are from around 500 AD. There is another Haplogroup HV2 found in this article in Texas: "Mitochondrial DNA analysis of the putative skeletal remains of Sieur de Marle: Genetic support for anthropological assessment of biogeographic ancestry". But the remains are disputed to be either European or Caddoan Native. I believe they are really Native America because the bones were found in a Native American burial. These are sampled to around 1650 AD so post-Columbus. There are some post-Columbian samples found with many L groups around the Carolinas found at the website first linked by typing in Google "Haplogroup Info".

David, you know you were told in email by authors of "Kennewick Man: The Scientific Investigation of an Ancient American Skeleton (Peopling of the Americas Publications)" that your conclusion of Kennewick Man's age is wrong. The book's three scientific studies, by different teams, using many samples, tested in different labs, over a 10 year period concluded Kennewick Man is nearly 9000 years old. You are aware of the table in the book showing the dating results of all the carbon 14 samples. The cherri picked leached carbon samples you hold onto are not useful to determine the age of Kennewick Man, and you were told that by the actual scientists handling the bones and taking the samples.

Galatians 1:6-12 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed!!! Mormonism is definitely a cult. They have pushed aside the true Word of God and replaced it with their book of Mormon.
@JohnDove-d8d
@JohnDove-d8d Месяц назад
You are very right Mr. Paul. But, the truth is, the scientific facts speak for themselves. The Creator is a being of great Order, and for this reason, would not create something which defies it's own physical boundaries. If that concept makes sense? That being said, the science speaks for itself. These people have twisted the results to their liking. However, the objective results are indeed not what they've claimed. Haplogroup X, has many subclades, and not all of it's subclades are each other's direct relatives. X2a is the subclade found among my people, the American Indians of North American Tribes. This subclade *does not* exist among *anyone* in the Middle East, or in Europe. There are other subclades of Haplogroup X in Europe and the Middle East, yet, those subclades are not found among American Indian people. Meaning that there's no relationship. Subclade X2a is also found in Native American human remains dating back to the dawn of mankind. Which means it doesn't come from the Middle East. It comes from pre Historic mankind. And the people in the Middle East are not it's relative. It is uniquely exclusive to American Indians. These people classified *all* of Haplogroup X's subclades as being one and the same, and they're not, some of them have no direct relationships to each other. Even in a lab, with genetic information, the Creator is proven right, American Indian Haplogroup X2a is Indigenous to North America, and is not related to Hebrews. These people twisted the reality of the genetic information. They counted all Haplogroup X as the same group of people and it's not. They're lying. It's subclades have no relationship to each other and date back to the dawn of humanity itself.

There is so much division about all of these issues, but I wanted to ask if you have ever heard if the Cherokee people, or the Siouxian speaking peoples are connected with the Hopewell? I’m asking this for a reason, primarily I have noticed some customs and traditions that are still practiced by both of these peoples today that appear to have a link to things that are Hopewell. @@Lamanitehistory I know that there has been some research in the past to indicate genetic connections between the Cherokee people and the Hopewell culture. There are also some interesting, rituals and spiritual beliefs, that perhaps have a link. One of my ancestors on my father‘s side of the family, was supposedly Cherokee but I have no way of knowing for sure. I do know that her family came from an area that was close to where the Carolina Tuscarora lived. There were also other people that lived along the coast of the Carolinas where my family had settled. Who knows? As for the Lakota, I spent some time as a young man, living and studying with a couple of them, and I was blown away by their knowledge of things like the stars, and how all the different parts of the earth work together like an organized system, taking over like a fine tuned machine. If you interfere with it, it causes a lot of problems. I also noticed there were some amazing similarities between some of the things that they still make with their own hands as a tradition Like pipes, some of the sacred symbology, and the number seven, which comes up again and again. I also recognized the law of consecration, which they still practice. I love the Lakota people, and I have great respect for them.
