Lmao i posted a clip of former journeymen QBs dan and chase reviewing what rookie QBs playbooks what they get and the amount of information they'd have to go through and grasp in the Vikings subreddit awhile back and boy the amount of insecurities people felt about such a niche job in the professional sports world 😂 I was dying laughing. Most really thought just learning a playbook is all there is to being a QB.

I don’t think you thought about the question of quarterback being the hardest occupation in quite the correct way. The way you phrased it like only 20 people at any given time can play the position at an elite level. I think it’s probably pretty similar to most jobs. There’s probably only a few dozen people in any career at any given time that are considered “elite” but lots of others that can technically do the job.

DFQ: I know you guys have covered how you get paid in the NFL. Personal question: what was your first thought when you saw that first check? Was it surreal? Was it gone as fast as you deposited it? Just wondering what goes through a young dumb kids head when they see that crazy number.
