Tell me where privatisation has worked?......nowhere!! I work in the NHS, we have too many managers. Literally more staff in the office than on the shop floor.
People who think privatisation of healthcare is better than nationalisation should visit countries where it’s embedded. It’s fine for Jacob Rees-Mogg to talk about it - he will always be able to afford the best private insurance and treatment for his family. It is different for somebody who will be forced into bankruptcy because their child gets cancer.
That's correct, but you'd have to take out health insurance. Which might be financially viable whilst you're in good health, but could become problematic if you develop a chronic condition .
Next time Conservatives or a Right Wing party get in, I’m convinced we’ll get rid of our human rights and people will have the option to “opt out” of their NHS contributions in their tax if they wanted, then they’ll get rid of the NHS. And we’ll all have voted for it. Because someone on the TV told us too!
