Maurice Jarre composed a movie soundtrack and I give you the music played by Django Reinhardt the day Paris was liberated. He was inside the city, welcomed the Free French troops and composed this. I prefer reality rather than comedy, even a very good one.
A very good movie. Would love to see a new modern version of this film as it would be incredibly awesome. A chance to rectify the Allied bias by highlighting the good and bad elements on both sides.. In war the real heroes are those that show compassion and keep their humanity, even to their enemies.
