Note: Made a mistake saying that the Ender Dragon doesn't spawn in peaceful mode! It actually does, it's just usually impossible to get into the End without a set seed or insane luck.
Why not just find multiple strongholds and collect the ender eyes till you have enough? It's hard to do since no ender eye is guiding you but you have higher chance than 'set seed or insane luck'
I wish there was a passive mode. Where mobs would spawn like normal, but not be agro at the player. Maybe even a semi passive that only agro-s mobs when you initiate the fight.
Exactly, I used to play peaceful a lot because it wasn’t combat I didn’t like, but I got snuck up on by mobs wayyyy too much, so I just stopped playing with them.
I have this idea for passive mode: zombies will chase you, but can't actually do damage, skeletons just wander around without bows, spiders always think it's day time, creepers can't cause explosions, but can still sound like they will, enderman think you always have a pumpkin on, zombie pigmen can't gather armys to attack you and don't have a sword, pillagers are passive towards the player, piglen and hoglin are already covered, slimes and magma cubes won't deal damage, just hug the player, ghasts can't shoot fireballs, wither skeletons the same with regular ones, the wither can't apply the wither effect and is very weak, blazes can only get agro'd and even then can only shoot one fireball at a time, silverfish simply don't exist, witches are also passive, drowned same as zombies, guardians can't shoot their eye lasers, elder guardian can still make mining fatigue happen, the ender dragon acts as it does in peaceful mode, and shulker bullets don't deal damage
Peaceful mode is better as a thing you can just turn on and off if you happen to be in a situation where you don't want hostile mobs to spawn. It's better to have the mode and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
Hard mode already has a way to do that tho. And lately it's become extremely easy with wardens . It's called a mob switch. And yes I know it looks and sounds scary but it's actually pretty easy
Yeah about 11 years ago when I was like 7, I used to be scared of playing anything other than peaceful, but in my defense, minecraft wasn't the same back then
Yeah you might not be able to do it in peaceful but it’s great to switch back and forth between peaceful and another difficulty depending on what you’re doing. You’re not locked to one or the other.
@@JmMateo933 Yes it's hostile but how the FUCK will we be able to beat the end?, Even if the other things are not possible we can find out a way dude! like chill out
I used to make peaceful worlds with my old friend. We didn’t want to beat the ender dragon, or spawn the wither, we just chilled and built stuff. Would do a lot to re-experience that ❤
I always think peaceful as taking a break or as an intro to those who have never played. It gets you use to the mechanics before you go to easy. Sometimes you just want to go god mode, kick back with a glass of rum and enjoy the music.
Exactly, I bought minecraft for my tablet, played a little bit and kept dying from mobs, put it down for a while. Now I'm using a different control setup (trying to get used to using two fingers at once so I can attack and turn at the same time) but peaceful mode is perfect for me now I can go exploring and not worry about dying.
I use it as a cheat sometimes tbh 😂 Just long enough to gather the materials and build my house (I typically use tiled blackstone) so if a creeper blows up next to my house I don’t have to worry about losing not only my house but everything inside as well. I also love the ocelots/cats for creepers. I Build my porch whether front/back/wrap-around and have the ocelots tied on a lead to a fence to scare away any creepers getting too close to the house.
@@imabored6150 *ahem* This might be about slime balls, but it has if slimes spawn or not in it and its a copy and paste from an official minecraft wiki:" Slimeballs are usually obtained by killing slimes. However, slimes don't spawn in peaceful difficulty. In Peaceful difficulty, slimeballs are obtainable from trading it with a wandering trader and are dropped by pandas when they sneeze."
@@Tuberex Peaceful mode _might_ actually be the hardest _gamemode_ in Minecraft. It disables all mob spawns, gives _passive_ health _regeneration,_ and there is no hunger loss. But these _benefits_ are also its downfall. Success in _Minecraft_ can be defined in a few ways: one is killing the Ender Dragon, which now is impossible because it doesn't even spawn. And that's if you _somehow_ got a natural-spawning 12-eye End Portal, which has a _probability_ of _one_ in one trillion. Another way to succeed is completing _advancements,_ many of which are _also_ now impossible to do. But, Minecraft is a sandbox game, and "thriving" in a _world_ doesn't come from just beating the game or completing achievements. Many players also _love_ building farms, creating _massive_ builds, and resource-gathering. _But,_ unfortunately, these things are _also_ extremely difficult in peaceful. This is why-
Peaceful is useful for creative builds in a superflat, because slimes aren't in the way, and mobs don't spawn inside the hollow parts of the build, where there's no light.
D: I love peaceful mode though! I'm always scared of the mobs, even villagers- _For Reasons-_ I always play peaceful mode whenever I'm bored, Nothing to worry about easy to get materials and nothing else that can annoy you :D
I checked the end out in peaceful mode, it actually does spawn, it just kinda- doesn’t do anything. flies around a bit and you can just hit it easily lmao
I used to play on peaceful mode when I'm just starting to play it and I can relate to this you can't get strings easy and things that mobs drop like bones and villagers can't spawn back once they die you also need to kill salmon to get bones if you wanna tame a wolf and the chances of getting a bone drop in a salmon is quite rare there are more this that I want to tell but this is for now.
You can buy eyes of ender from clerics when you get them to tier 3 trades. They’re expensive, but if you sell enough stuff for emeralds (I personally like trading with farmers the best), you’ll have enough for them.
@@Italy_Mapping I feel you dude I'm (just a few years) older and baby zombies scare me more than the dragon Ah and let me add to the list Raids, a bit of Wither skeletons and I hate going into Bastions becuse of piglin brutes😭
@@essyr1715 I play Peaceful mode 80% of the time (except with my BFF and with My Sister) Because all type of Zombies are disgusting and also I easily get jumpscared so I really can't
Would be cool if wither skulls, blaze rods, magma cream, slime, prismarine shards, prismarine crystals, sponges, iron, gold, rotten flesh, bones, string, copper, shulker shells, mob heads, gunpowder, trident, nautilus shells and totem of undying to be able to be traded from villagers huh.
@@astikach666 The only truly unobtaianble mob drops are blaze rods, wither skulls and mob heads. Skeletons skulls will be obtainable in the 1.19 Deep Dark City.
Blaze powder can be found in certain chests, same with ender pearls in which the pearls can also be received by trading with villagers. It's an extreme long haul but it's possible.
"Peaceful mode might actually be the hardest mode to beat" Hardcore Speedrunners: am I a joke to y- *sees whole video* Hardcore Speedrunner: i am a fking joke
You actually can just trade with piglins since they still spawn in bastions, but the blaze rods idk how (normally I make a shelter and go into normal mode for that)
I honestly don't know why but I spent 99 prevent of my imw in my survival world in peaceful, like you said, I only went in normal to kill blazes and some endermen.
As someone who gets jumpscared from my own PTSD too much I had to stop playing anything other than oeaceful many years ago. You CAN actually go to the end and get mob loot just not by killing anything. Yeah remember desert temples? Boom. There's your gunpowder bones and rotten flesh. Need blaze powder? Go in a chest in some nether fortress. Need enderpearls? Find a stronghold and some chests will have them. It's definitely harder to get some thi gs rather than others but I honestly like that challenge. Im glad its finally getting the appreciation it deserves rather than being cinstantly attacked for not playing on a normal survival or hardcore world despite having severe CPTSD that makes it too hard for me to play it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. It feels good to know there are still some good people left that respect peaceful mode players.
I did peaceful to get a achievement everytime we needed monsters we’d put it on easy do what we need and back on peaceful beat the game and every thing
Peaceful is usually just a great cheap way to cheat death right at the last second when don't have totem or even stop Phantoms when you have no bed and turn it back to original gamemode when you got what you need
Ender dragon can span in peaceful mode (Checked). But still, you can't get blaze rods if you're not in a version that blazes used to spawn for a sec in peaceful mode.
I've always wished Minecraft would release a mode that has no monster spawns but everything else is normal, like hunger and health Regen. My wife would play with me if there weren't monsters, she likes it as just a survival simulator. But when you turn off the monsters, you turn off hunger and your health always regenerates instantly. Kinda ruins it when you don't need to farm food and stuff
