When you realize that a game so important In fighting game history that it celebrating it's 20th annaversery by heading to EVO, without a release in decades.
And still no way to actually BUY the game...I know Disney is the one deciding to no release these games, but Capcom is losing A LOT of money because of that stupid decision.
I understand your point and ima let you finish but cap vs snk was the greatest vs series fighting game of all time and is slept on. This now bogus series of games has long lost its life as it once was. Had capcom continued that series without an already over exposed mugen sim of it we wouldn’t be seeing this game I dear say...

@@meganinten0078 The soul of the FGC. He used to do a show called "Excellent Adventures" with his friend which would be them playing online matches often with a guest that would be a prominent player in the FGC. Street Fighter V was so bad it put him into retirement until late last year!
The day this game gets rereleased on modern consoles will be the happiest day of my life. The only game I want rereleased more than this is Scott Pilgrim vs The World
lawrence feliz the only way I know is to have purchased the game before it was taken off PSN and Xbox Live but that was years ago. Apparently through emulation? But I don’t know much about doing that.

Really hope this game returning to evo means we're getting a rerelease on current consoles. I have no confidence whatsoever but it'd sure be nice. An arcade just recently opened up near me that had an MvC2 cabinet and I only got to play it once and the second time I went there it was already to worn down to play.
Nicholas B Disney owned Marvel when MvCI came out. Enough not said, they could just rerelease especially now that they aren’t neglecting the X-Men to devalue them.
I still have my Dreamcast, and i'm honestly scared a port to new gen will be faulty. original hardware plays so well. I understand that's not an option for people because original dreamcast and marvel 2 will cost you upwards of a thousand dollars but damn if it isn't such a good feeling

What if Capcom approached EVO to have MVC2 so that people would be hype and then on the final round announce remake of this game with a few more capcom and marvel characters
I wouldn’t mind a new entry in the Versus series. And maybe crossover with someone else besides marvel. I always dreamt a Jump vs Capcom game. Seeing gokus kamehameha and ryus shinku hadoken clash would be so epic.
And I've found the squad! Had a dude try to debate this with me a couple weeks ago. I love seeing this game in action with everyone and not just the same team in every top 32. It's so entertaining seeing everyone at the forefront in action 😆😆
this seems like a good of place to ask as any. so, fellow doods, would you rather see: 1)Mahvel 4, CvS 3, TvC 2, Capcom All-Stars or any other *fully new* Vs Capcom 2)a *FULL* legacy collection, with Children of the Atom, Xmen vs SF, MvC(1,2,3,&I), TvC, SvC chaos, CvS 1&2, and ALL the other Vs Capcom titles in one big bundle 3)a *Remake* of MvC 2, done to the level of the RE2 remake. maybe even with more characters down the road. let's just assume that all of them are created equally, with the amount of love games like Monster Hunter: World, Resident Evil 7 & 2/3r, and DMC 5 all got. what do you choose?
Honestly if capcom doesn’t come out and say they are rereleasing MVC2 then that’s a huge flop. Especially since it’s the 20th of this game’s release. However if they announce they are in the process of making the remake at evo that would also be just as hype. Like they have a trailer and everything and it get released this following year then I would preorder that game in a heart beat. Like forget my rent and car payment. I have my priorities in order and that’s Marvel
Hear me out... MvC2-*2* It's exactly MvC2, but with all of the characters introduced in 3 and Infinite copy-pasted into it (3-D rendering and all, true to MvC2 aesthetic design)
@@Viviantoga That's what I hope the roster for a Marvel 4 ends up being: Infinite+Ultimate 3 with even more characters, but the artstyle is 3's comic art. I'd love to play a Marvel vs Capcom where I can have Monster Hunter, Deadpool, and Dante on the same team.
I always wonder what would have happened if the weird mess that was Capcom Fighting Jam had just been MvC2 without the Marvel characters. I could see that having become Capcoms version of a King of Fighters style mashup game series with all the SF and DS characters along with the Striders and Captain Commando stuff. Oh well, what could have been.
That’s funny I always wanted a Street Fighter Vs Darkstalkers but a King OG Fighters styled Capcom game sounds even better and they could include characters from Rival Schools, Power Stone and Asura from Asura’s Wrath.

I noticed that too. I think the asset is pulled too far into the foreground because the bottom half of the shaft cover is there but in the correct position.
God I love seeing some MAHVEL. Also that MegaMan game reminded me of when Mike Ross showed Max that the Soccer ball can regularly fuck Magneto up in this game. Good times.
Hopefully we get a collection announcement at EVO 2020 that _at least_ includes: X-Men vs. Street Fighter Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter Marvel vs. Capcom Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Then imagine we get a Marvel vs. Capcom 4 announcement?
That's how you do it! That would be a legendary move for Capcom, without a doubt. Everyone would love that and it'd definitely help return them to former glory. Could you imagine the crowd reaction OMG?
I think Capcom would love to do it but the licencing for the games is what holds them back. Even tho I think Disney owns Fox and Marvel now so maybe its easier these days? I definately agree tho. EVO is a great opportunity to show that people are still very much interested in owning a MvC legacy collection. heres hoping.
@@Slotzki That's what I was thinking. Since Disney owns it all, they'd just need to work out a licensing agreement with 1 company. Not only would it profit them a lot, but it would make fans happy; especially since the older versus games are inaccessible through legitimate means; at least not as easily since you'd have to go through like second hand/auction sites like eBay or Amazon and pay ridiculous prices for them.
This is how I prefer to watch MvC2 videos. No Magneto/Storm/Sentinel/Cable/Doctor Doom/Iron Man on every single team, no infinites, just straight using the variety of the roster and pulling combos off that allow the other player to take a breather/make a comeback combo without having the first hit pretty much be the end of the opponent’s character. None of this shit you see in tournaments. Literally just having fun, and playing with other characters without the need to juggle/do infinites 👍🏾

If i recall correctly, Servbot's gimmick is that they change their QCF+2P depending on their assist. There's the chef one, the "legion" one and one that makes them drop in sequence (mimicking Magneto's Magnetick Shockwave).

I used to play this a lot with my brother and have best of 7 or 3 matches. One i played against my brother he had sentinel cyclops and storm. I had akuma servbot and cable i dont remember why i picked them but for some reason i managed to 1v3 them as servbot and I won...
Max, you dropped that ground combo with Gambit. After the sweep, you use a light Cajun Slash. And remember, the assist of Kobun determines how his Lunchtime Rush and King Kobun supers attack.
I just want this game Rereleased on current and next gen consoles in BOTH a physical and digital release cause let's be honest if the ps3 360 versions of this game got a physical release as well as digital while it would still be a pain to get your hands on it doesnt become lost to time like it essentially has (not to mention games like scott pilgrim as well)
man this takes me back it is nothing but utter pleasure to watch Max play this game especially since the way he uses certain characters is nothing how I use them I always used Doom as a zoner but to see max get on up in people faces is amazing and I used to use Strider all the time but I was never a good as max I hope he does more of these videos
Dont know if you already know, but even if you use tatsumaki on ground with akuma, you can cancel into aerial fireball special, and since its on the ground evry single fireball will hit, doing much more damage.
I feel like this is how you breath new life into MVC 2, is by not playing just the top-tier characters all the time. Yeah, doing that will give you hype moments, but I think that MVC 2 can get equally/better hype moments with the rest of the cast, if giving a chance.
