When i was 24 I was living my woman and we got married the day after I turned 25 :) She passed away from cancer but she told me just before she passed that I was the best thing that happened to her in her life :)

A wife/long term girlfriend may have to be a nanny, cook, maid, mom, healthcare provider lover, confidant, soulmate or whatever she needs to be. NOT BECAUSE YOU TELL HER TO BUT BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO BE. That's what a good relationship involves. I have friends in the west where one partner or a child may be seriously ill they may say "I don't want to br a burden put me in a care facility and go live your life." You need to respect each other always, and my LDR relationship is exactly the same things we have talked about. My Filipina, and future wife is nearly my age, with an 8 year age gap. We both know the way things should be, she was married to a foreigner many years ago, and lost him to Leukemia, in 2010. Their 15 years of marriage was always an LDR. Well Monty your first statement was right on target. Aragel is beautiful. I have always said a relationship should be 50/50. I have people here ask me who cleans your place and I say I do. They say why not get a Filipina to do it for you. I just tell them I have lived alone a lot in my life so I know how to cook and clean and do laundry. I don't need someone to everything for me. I have dated a few girls and had them to my place and they want to do everything I tell I can't sit here and let you do everything. You should share your life together do things together. You are right life is too short to put up crap. I would never tell someone they had to this or that. If I want something to eat I can make it myself and I would make enough to share with my partner. If she offered to make something ok but I am not going to tell her to do it.

Monty, you may have made every mistake but you still ended up rolling a 7 with Arigel. You may have had some health issues but you are sharp as a tack. You share your attributes (wisdom) very easily. I have had some health issues the last couple of years and my wife was always there for me. I feel much better now and Pray the same for you Monty. It is important for Arigel to get away at times with her friends. If her entire life revolves around you and God forbid something happens to you, she will be completely lost. Not really her mother ran off with another man when my wife was 12. Her father is Catholic but doesn’t attend church. Her brother is gay. Aragel is a good Christian woman who goes to a Presbyterian Church.

She said that she married me for better or worse. She is very devoted to me and our daughter. Her mother left when Aragel was 12 her mother left and she would never want that for Faith 😊

We don't disagree. Aragel is all of those things to me. We're just saying if there's no mutual respect and the man just wants to do everything for him and only treats you like a house keeper.
