Hello Everyone!
New upload here and in today's video we are going to shine light on a highly desired skill of Slash's among guitar players and that is non other than the proper LEGATO technique!!!

Wow thanks man this really helped me,. Ive been a lp guy since 2000 started with epi 100 and had a few lp to now a entree gibson and made me want to learn guitar properly,. Slash made me want a les paul

Heavy (distorted tone), bluesy (minor blues pentatonic and mixing with major), exotic (implemening harmonic minor and melodic minor), cool (nothing to be explained here), emotional (good phrasing) and funky at times. Slash is the textbook definition of rock guitar playing for me.

Hi Laszlo, I'm not sure if you will see this but I just wanted to thank you for all the work you put into these videos. I was a big fan of G# and was very saddened when I learned of his passing, and I feel like his spirit lives on in players like you. Your tone is amazing, your playing is flawless, and your understanding and teaching of the material is top-notch. I've been having fun implementing some Slash style licks into my playing and am a new subscriber and fan. On an unrelated note, that ring and bracelet on your right hand are really cool, where did you get them?

Thank you so much Blackacre Doe for your feedback! Very kind words. Story behind the jewels: The bracelet is a gift that my mom bought for me when I was 15. The skull ring I bought when I moved to Los Angeles in 2016. I found it in one of those rock shops on Hollywood Blvd.

@@LaszloErdosy Ugyan ne csináld :) A te játékod már évekkel ezelőtt is bitang jó volt a tisztelet pedig kölcsönös! :) SRV-s videókban nem gondolkoztál? Csak mert az ő ízes mocskos játékával is nagyon képben vagy, szerintem megérne egy próbát. Láttam nem egy SRV-s videót itt fent elférne egy olyan játék mint a tied :) ;) A videóidnak én is hasznát fogom venni nem a klisés dolgokat mutatod meg szerintem. Ahogy látom ez másnak is feltűnt! :)

By the way, would you like to do some videos on how would Slash play ___(blank)? Example: What If Slash played "The Temple of the King" by Rainbow or What If Slash played "Always Somewhere" by the Scorpions... Something like that. Anyway, thanks for sharing these ideas. Slash is kinda ONE-TRICK PONY yet he is one of the greatest sounding guitarists. I like the fact that he doesn't do finger-tapping, dive bombs (or any whammy bar techniques) also, he does not use his left pinky finger most of the time -- If he could read this, I would suggest for him (Slash) to explore the beauty of chords; chord-shapes, chord-melody, fingerstyle. Learn the strumming pattern of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Lastly, play more of acoustic (jam with Tommy Emmanuel) ~ Thanks a lot

It’s one thing to break it down with all this music theory… it’s a lot harder to actually come up with your own style as an artist. But go ahead, be a karaoke guitarist

Maverick 13. There is no intention to reinvent guitar playing here. There is probably better ones out there who's already been doing it anyways. But on the flip side to this, to get inspired from the already existing out there, is a whole another cup of tea and and has been the natural way of evolving ever since. Slash is an offspring of Jimmy Page, Joe Perry and Keith Richards and as you do get inspired you create your own unique style but having your roots as what they are. My goal with this series to give something back to the new generation and help the ones who seek the help how to get better at this style and reach milestones. If this is not your pair of shoes, don't wear it brother. Thanks for checking in. :)

Yeah you're a great player but given you live in an apartment, we surmise you aren't writing your own songs and playing them in your own band? Which if true, why not? If not true what is your band and where are you playing your own music? Or maybe you just like living normally while still doing okay. And you're playing a LP classic which is excellent of course but isn't the LP Modern the peak now? (Excepting older collector models). So how are your neighbours not freaking out over your amped guitar? What is your view on the Les Paul Tribute, Studio, Standard and Modern? Nice shirt. Have a look at Tommy Bahama too.
