I have a 7 year old 84" Epiq just got Warrantied for a corrosion issue underneath the box. The powder coating was sprayed on lightly underneath. I Now have a brand new box coming in a new color and drawer configuration that i was able to choose. No cost to me. Thats why i buy Snap on.
Just Got My Epiq 84 inch... 2nd Snap on Since 2004. Been working with my 56in Matco, but didn't have the Depth. Traded it in and got what I wanted! Thanks for this! UK? You made me love my Box more with that Accent!!! Lol!!! You got a Sub , Brother!
Hello Alex Carter, Just watched you video. All I can say is Amen Brother! I agree with pretty much everything you say about your Snap-on toolbox. Very well explained! Thanks for sharing this with everybody! Gregg (Critter) Muse
Snapon is the only brand that has been consistently supportive (showing up every week) throughout my career. I've had a number of boxes, starting with smaller KRL's, since I started 23 years ago. Every box got traded in for exactly what I paid for them. I currently have a 5 year old 84" Epiq I've been working out of every day since new without issue and just took delivery of a 68" top / bottom set a couple months back.
Why would they replace the entire bottom section over one little paint scratch? I would just ask them to repair it under warranty and they'd probably even offer you some free merch for the trouble.
@@AlexCarter-AscAudio So it wasn't repairable? They couldn't just replace the slides on that drawer or replace the drawer itself? Seems like a huge waste to replace the entire bottom section over that.
I agree, if I was to go to a mechanic shop and the floor was clean and shiny, the place is clean, organized, and they had a sick tool box I would feel more confident. Branding and image is huge when people make descisons
Cool setup, I am in Canada and just curious how the snap on/ Mac tool scene is in the United Kingdom? Is it still a van that comes to see you at your place of work every so often to sell you goodies and warranty damaged goods or are there retail outlets
Completely agree man, ive invested over 30k on snapon tools (no box yet) but its worth every penny. I hate ppl that act like they know snap on but only own a couple of tools and keep breaking their craftsmen or crap tools and gata ask to borrow mine!!! Lol it makes me laugh, ive invested in myself and my future and yes im also a snap on junkie and yes sometimes i go a little over board but hey its like Christmas every Tuesday lol, anyway man awesome video and awesome set up!!!! Hopefully ul do a tool box tour so we can all see its full glory!!!
Love the Box I have a green Snap-on box but I would love to have the purple but I don't foresee it in my near future awesome looking box it would match my purple car enjoyed your video thanks for sharing
I totally agree with you , you pay for what you get .... huge snap on fan myself , keep buying ang the guy warranty tools that are not even cover , my friend just got is box covered under warranty ..... made in usa ( im canadian) ... etc etc the guy that respect ia toolbox is gonna respect your car....
110% agreed! You paid so much and why not take care of your life investments! I have a 60 epiq and use it for a "Home Base" but use my service cart more then the epiq.
As an owner of a 20 year old Master's series 72" I have always wanted a hutch. Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and buy an 84" Epiq with a hutch. Room to grow, eh?
You are absolutely correct I have been doing this since I was 9 yrs old I am 45 now and been turning wrenches professionally for 17 yrs my dad is a master mechanic and I've used every brand of tool and hands down snap on tools are by far the best tools out there like you said there are plenty of tools that can do the job but none of them do it as good as snap on tools can so the prices are higher but for good reason.
Is this an 84” or 68”? I’m looking to place my order towards end of 2018, but from my understanding they took away the power bank on the end I wanted. So I’m very interested in the different drawer configurations to see what will best suite my needs as an aspiring ASE master tech.
If I have to explain you would never understand.!!!!! I traded a 26yr old box and a small 4yr old green small box for what I paid for it on an EPIQ 84" for almost what I paid for it years and years ago. Love my new and last box. No stickers or crap on mine. I'm elfin 66 this is a home box.
I have an epiq 68. Its a great looking box. It’s a decent box over all but no, it’s not worth the money. I paid 5000 cash for a brand new box. I think there are better boxes out there but they are harder to get to. I think the tool guy makes or breaks the deals. Mine sucks. A buddy of mine has a classic 72 with a stainless steel top and it warped. They still haven’t fixed it.
Great video brother nice color I have a herbrand box in the same color but someone repainted it I will be re doing it at some point I have a video of it
BEAUTIFUL box, (I'm an oldschool "red" box man), I can't bring myself to buy an Epiq series though. I also can't talk myself into buying a hutch, no "F"ing drawers and $3500. I DON'T THINK SO ! I just bought my second 3 bay Masters series, I guess I'll just have to live with them !
I don’t care what company you prefer if you are honest with your representative treat him or her fairly and take care of your shit they will go the extra mile for you because they want to do business with a honest person example I pay my dealer on time every time but I recently lost my overtime benefit which was about 20 hours out of my paycheck and this came out of the blue and I had my student loans plus car payment due so I told my dealer what was going on and he let me go 2 weeks without paying just to get me settled where I could pay regular again moral of the story just be honest we are in a business to make money not enemies
Adgree with what your sayin, the number of times I see a toolbox tour and the guy is throwing tools in the drawers and slamming the drawers and I think WTF!!!!
Nice video ! I really do like my snap on tools! Sorry but here in the uk there isn’t really any other alternative. I have a fair bit of king dick tools for big and whitworth stuff. And I agree who in there right mind abuses tools!
So if your going to buy a box to really work out of don't buy a snap on ? If you want to pussy foot around and make an impression buy a snap on ? Not that i have anything against snap on i own one of there bottom line boxes and think it's a great box but i see many guy's who work in enviroment's that it would not make economic sense to own a box like this. These guy's are true wrencher's, that's what they do all day long. I don't think they want to be worrying about scratching a high dollar box all day. When time is money.
you don't make sense so if you are a mechanic and work hard you have a battered dirty tool box . I can 100% say i work harder and longer than you and i can still own a clean well maintained box without damage .
Because there isn't a UK equivalent that I like plus the hot rod show the bike shows never used anything but snap on . Bloody good marketing .so that's what I aspired to use and own .
There is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Snap-on tool box worth the money they charge...……………………..You guys crack me up when you buy these silly things...…………………...What a joke
Snap on /mac tool box are worth the why pay over 2k for something that holds your fucking tools? People like you make me laugh im in Motor trade I use snap on tools but not there boxes not worth the money.
