The 2 ketamine clinics I have gone to both worked with my insurance in USA. After 6 sessions my depression was 90% gone with no lingering side effects.
Can Commercial CDL drivers subject to DOT drug testing and regulation receive this treatment without DOT concerns affecting their careers by the DOT if detected in urine/hair sample?

I’m on my 2nd round and it’s not as effective as the 1st round. TMS is an excellent treatment program, I just think my depression is so severe I’m considering this newer treatment option.
I've tried Ketamine treatment for a full round of 6 treatments....I believe. The results were sporadic....after some treatments I had a great days and after others nothing...and once I had a full week of relief from depression/anxiety. I'm hopeful about trying Spravato. I've heard on the internet that they have AT HOME NASAL SPRAY....is that right? I prefer whatever is the most effective.
@@handyman1016 In Netherlands you need to be in a Academic Hospital to get Spravato. No private clinics here. Only 5 hospitals in whole Netherlands which serve Spravato.
I just came from an appointment with someone at the Ohio State University department who determines what treatment a person will get. He explained that Spravato is just the S isomer of ketamine and Ketamine is both the R & S isomer. He said the ketamine is both 50% R isomer and 50% S isomer. And that is what I also saw on a RU-vid explanation. so I think the explanation here is slightly off. Ketamine is not the R only isomer. Ketamine contains the S isomer also. So if you take ketamine intravenously, you are getting the S isomer & the R. If you take Spravato, you’re only getting the S isomer intranasally. And from what I was told, they only isolated the S isomer in order to be able to patent Ketamine so they could make a lot of money. I did hear that Spravato had fewer hallucinatory effects, but I was told that that was because it did not get to the brain as quickly or in as much quantity is regular Ketamine. The fact that they might have isolated the S isomer in order to reduce hallucinatory effects (instead of just to make money) is interesting and more applaudable. However, the person that I talked to in this clinic said that they don’t really know right now if you need both the S and the R isomer or if just the S isomer works fine on its own. And many articles that I’ve read are questioning whether the hallucinatory affects are unnecessary or if they are part of the reason that Ketamine is effective. The main difference known at this point is that ketamine given intravenously reaches your brain in minutes in full force while Spravato given Intranasally becomes diluted and less gets to your brain right away. Whether that matters in the end or not, no one knows. They have some data but you know how they never know for sure if their data is accurate. And whether it is beneficial or detrimental to remove the hallucinations is still in question.

That's a little bit more what it's like to take ketamine.
I've been struggling with treatment resistant depression, military PTSD from sexual assault (MST), severe conversion disorder with PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures) which is similar to generalized anxiety but on steroids. This coming February, I'll have been through 2 years of ketamine IV therapy. Yes. I've spent over 20k of my disability checks to pay for my treatments. It was my mother's dying wish. It's working! It broke my sucdl ideation! I'm not furious everyday I don't wake up dead. My PNES have calmed down so much! It changes your thought processes. Which is weird, but true. I've found myself in really deep thinking lol. When I did my initial 6 treatments in 2 weeks almost 2 years ago ... it was incredible. The best way I've been able to explain it on one sentence to my VA doctors is: "It's like waking up from a 30 year coma." Colors are brighter. Music is more enjoyable (for me? It was like hearing it for the 1st time again. I sobbed my eyes out while singing through the tears). My body pains were tolerable. OH! & SLEEP is restored!!!!!!! I swear I hadn't slept more than 0 - 5 hours in over a decade. I had forgotten what real sleep felt like. And you know, your body can't heal or store memories properly unless you sleep. It's a fact that the longer a person is depressed, the more their brain will atrophy! The neural ganglion in our prefrontal cortex shrivel & die. But! Ketamine baths the brain & GROWS it BACK! So, the younger you are, the faster this treatment will work for you! I've been stuck in TRD for over 30 years. I'm 60 years old. I broke back on 8-10-1990 after receiving a death threat (after the MST that I didn't fully remember until 29 years later) to be carried out when we got to Iraq. So, long answer is, yes it works for many mental health issues. This is just my experience. I'm not a doctor or nurse. It's worth it. Even though, I could've bought a car for what I've spent so far. @@DesertRose63 Sorry about your depressive state..I have PTSD too...and a chronic back pain that was resistant to some painkillers..then I booked and had a K infusion at Dennis_allen_01.. sometime it's been months now..and I have never felt this better all my life..I will be going for another session next month....👌 Stay strong you've got this🤗👌
some people have elegiac relations. I've seen guys throw up after a bump, this is why the should test with a low dose if the person has never done it. and the kid was sober, besides pot. @@Charlie-rt7sb
