Here's how bowling scoring works, if you're interested. I first learned this when I was in high school. You get a point for each pin you knock over. If you get a spare you get 10 points plus then number of pins you knock over on your next throw. A Strike gets you ten points plus the number of pins you knock down in your next *2* throws. So bowling a strike then rolling a gutter and then a spare (all ten pins on your second throw when you guttered your first throw) then 9 pins and a miss ( X | 0\ | 9 0 ) is worth 20 then 39 then 48 in those three innings. If instead you bowled a strike a strike then 9 and a miss (X | X | 9 0) is worth 29 then 48 then 57 in those same three innings. Three strikes followed by a 6 pin hit and then 2 pins (X | X | X | 6 2 ) you get 30 points in the first inning, plus 26 to 56 points in the second, plus 18 to 74 in the third, plus 8 to 82. You really see how successive strike is massively powerful. A perfect game is ten strikes in a row plus 2 more "strikes" in the final frame granting you a score of 300. This is also why strikes and spare mean the score doesn't get calculated right a way. The game doesn't know how much it is worth yet, I could be worth ten if you gutter or 30 if you turkey. In the final frame only the first set of 10 pins adds to your score, the other two sets are only there to determine what a Strike or spare is worth. So if you bowl a strike in the final frame, ten more pins come down, but the pins you hit ONLY add to the strike and do not count on their own. Getting a turkey in the final frame is technically worth less than anywhere else since the second and third strikes are only there to add to the previous strike and don't count by them selves. How this makes sense!

Wii sports bowling is superior to actual bowling

What I love about games like these is that Arin tries to win by doing fancy stuff like curving the ball but Dan just goes for the easy straight line and wins far more reliably xD

I do kinda hate the new mii's they wouldn't be so bad if they had more options, but you cannot make them actually look anything like you anymore unless you have a very basic haircut with very little texture. as a person with extremely curly hair the lack of curly hair options on avatar builders is one of the things about video games that frustrates the shit out of me. So them replacing a system that had those options with one that doesn't does piss me off quite a bit not going to lie.
