it's really weird to see that they're masters of different aspects of the game. Dan is fantastic at the fundamentals of tennis and what goes into winning a real tennis game, whereas Arin is really great at using the game's mechanics (the star shots, super moves etc.). If we were to combine them into one person they would be an unstoppable mario tennis machine.

This game has so much damn personality. I always love playing as unconventional characters, like enemies. Seeing them put so much emotion and believability into such cartoony characters, even a freaking _squid_ skirting around a tennis court after being hauled in by a bucket just fits in so well. They really need to put this amount of animation in the next Mario party game, or Mario game in general. It just adds so much more depth to the game.

I love how Arin always complains about being bad at everything and Dan manages to be the most supportive friend in the world while simultaneously kicking arins ass like it’s nothing.

Love how Dan is able to win most of the time even when he uses none of the special moves, that are there to help you win. While Arin uses special move after special move and struggles to beat Dan

I love how every episode seems to open with Danny laughing like a pure little ray of sun. That 10/10 lights up my day.

*Arin's Strategy:* Try all the special moves at once while skipping replays one could learn from and looking at only two words on the controls screen. Become angry when greatness isn't achieved - Be great or give up. Yell until opponent gets frustrated. *Dan's Strategy:* Use only basic shots and techniques, and don't worry about improving - That shit's hard, and this is a casual game. Also, chill out by commenting on pleasing visuals like characters, their outfits, the scenery, etc.

thank you guys for helping me through every stage of my life. Genuinely thought it was hilarious that Dan could win with just general knowledge of the correct ways to hit the ball with good positioning and timing. Makes me wanna get the game if its so well made that the extra stuff isn't required to win.

I noticed that Dan knows the thing where you go back to the center so that you can always return the shots in time while Arin heavily relies on using the time stop dash thingy ability with his reflexes. It's adorable how serious he is and Dan is all chill, I love Grump VS!

I know that was a one off episode but i very much liked it! I'd be more than happy to watch them play more of this! In the last part when then began to get a better grasp of the movements the game really started to pick up in intensity, making those last exchanges hilarious!

I would love to watch this a second time after they've had some practice in the game, because dan was doing phenomenally when they were both figuring it out but as soon as arin got on to the special meter moves dan didn't stand a chance
