Episode 25... Another Adventure finally gets back to Grenada with "all my eggs in the basket" just in time for locals Thanksgiving in October and Halloween Pegataur shenanigans! then WHAAAATTT! Is that a watermaker?!?!?! what a crazy awesome and lucky upgrade and i try to include lots of details on the install (sry if that parts a bit boaring to some of u) then a few more projects and preparation for heading north AGAIN! I have been working full time with a charter company in USVI for the last month or so to catch up on funds and have had little to no time for editing but season is slowing back to normal and i will be catching up on footage by zooming through all the highlights over the last two months! get ready for an action packed episode i have so much exciting footage and new news to share!

With that water maker you won't have to go to land very often, You would probably have a kindred spirit in the late Bernard Mointessier. He had webbed feet too.!!

Thanks for posting. Happy New Year! Congrats on the "Sea Recovery" unit. Water proves pretty valuable sometimes, eh?! Ha, "remembering the camera" is another bit... my 1st video was shot entirely in my shirt pocket, hence audio! Actually thought about you the other day while provisioning... found a 2.2lb bag of wasabi powder, hot mustard... Talk about "bringing the heat!" Cheers. S/V Good Karma

I keep envisioning having to wrap my locks in something to reduce stowaways when scrubbing the bottom. Got any suggestions or cautionary tales? Upon installing my first watermaker, I felt like I’d gained a super power! Congratulations!

It definitely feels like a superpower! And absolutely always wear a hoodie when cleaning the bottom or you will definitely get stowaways

I know this video came out a while ago, but couldn't help but notice you mounting your anchor chain stopper with bolts and washers. May last the life of the boat, but knowing the force of anchor chain pulls on a boat during choppy seas, I think I would have mounted it using a backing plate. I've seen a few life line stanchions pulled right through the deck from not using a backing plate. I would think the force of an anchor would be much greater. Maybe a project for another day!

Absolutely but it is only a check valve for when the anchor is being lifted... there is a snubber extended out and attached to a cleat holding any force from rocking in weather while the boat sits on anchor. would still prefer a backing plate either way but that area needs lots of future project love ;) thanks for the advise!

I have 600 W of solar and when the sun is up it runs it great!

@@SVAnotherAdventure cool, there's about 3 months each year here at my cabin where the solar system won't even fully charge a phone, but once the days get longer I can go months without firing up the generator. (The sun doesn't get high enough to peek over the trees for a time)
