FromSoft really wants you to "just do whatever would be really cool" And I am fucking here for it. Absolutely deserves game of the year. Too bad it filtered all the people who decide what gets awards.
The throwing your guns to the side, dodging the 7-beam-coral laser, and punching the Ibis a single time square in the chest to finish him off was one of the most cinematic things I’ve ever seen in this game
I made my own Heavy Arms Gundam. Similar loadout but instead of the handheld missiles, went with the Dagger Blade since the OG Heavy Arms had a built in blade in it's left arm. Still needs some fine tuning but the basics is there. This is a nice version you made.
Build burning is from build fighters try The burning gundam is from g gundam Tho I prefer calling it the God gundam cause American is afraid of Christians apparently
I did something similar. Except that its two gattlings instead of one missile gun. Alternating between 6 cell missiles and 10 cell missiles depending on how much speed I need. I was going more for EW Heavyarms xD
what you are missing is that even the heavy arms type 0 gundam had a blade weapon in its off hand would have been more realistic to ditch the left missles and add a blade
almost made the same. Only switch, besides using Alba chest and VP 440 head, was Knife instead of Siege Missiles, because in the show he had a little knife when he ran out of bullets. Oh, and I think I went with different legs, but can't recall atm
@@3limin8ted89 yeah it stays still a lot now and it attacks way less also the big move where it covers itself in energy and flies at you like a bird use to last for 3-5 passes with better tracking now it's a single pass with weak tracking. I hope they eventually patch the original difficulty back in for ng+ or ng++.
@@shomarc So there's a lot of misinformation here. First of all, the bosses have only been nerfed once, and the nerf wasn't as extreme as people think. There's a lot of people thinking the fight is easier for a lot of reasons that just aren't realistically true. Things like tracking, health, damage, etc. Those all weren't touched. The only thing that got actually changed, was how long your mech is staggered for in those fight. The reason the fight feels easier, is because you're not incapacitated for as long, and thus forced to eat as much unavoidable damage as before. It's not a bad change, as it helps alleviate the frustration that comes from being unable to do anything about what killed you. A lot of what makes the fight actually easier, is experience with the fight, having a good build, and your general skill level in avoiding attacks. As you get that, the fight's naturally going to feel easier and thus it's easy to blame the patch for it, when realistically it has very little to do with it. Things like the bird attack, only come out at specific health thresholds, and it's RNG as to what attacks it uses and when. Even before the nerf, I never even saw that attack due to the fact that my builds were usually designed to stagger and take off huge chunks of health. Plus, let's be honest, a lot of people are going to use some sort of cheese strategy like the stun needles. The missile build here, isn't much different from just a full proper missile build and can cheese quite a few bosses with relative ease due to their ability to build stagger quickly.
@@randomperson10101 actually look up information and test yourself before being a dumb ass trying to seem smart and telling people they are wrong. All the bosses (baltaeus, sea spider and ibis) attack way less and with less variation, sea spider and ibis have reduced health, some attacks like ibis bird attack that used to do 3 passes with good tracking now only do a single pass and ibis is less mobile. Their damage was nerfed, tracking for baltaeus missles nerfed. These are verifiable changes but your dumb ass probably wouldn't have noticed since you probably looked up and used an overpowered build so nothing changed in your eyes. Your dumb ass also assumed i changed my ac across runs or i just got better but I used the same ac for 2 playthroughs and a weaker one to test myself for run 3 and s ranks. My ac also wasn't meta, i used reverse joints with a pulse blade and gat, songbird and stun needle. Guess what, that same kit just drains ibis health more for the same attacks. I played ibis to the point it was a choreographed dance and the dance doesn't last as long now. Your dumb ass is assuming it all boils down to getting good and better parts but i had all 3 endings in 3 days. I was already toying with ibis before the patch and not getting hit beating it with 3 repairs i didn't even notice that stagger reduction. I did notice all the above though.
i built a Barbatos Lupus Rex build and it just consists of nothing except a pile bunker, all the speed i can muster and punches/kicks and was shocked how well it performed against bosses and even final boss Ayre was no match but it was bloody close lol
@@Mr.Possums It's actually fairly similar to a build I made that uses dual siege missiles and dual 12 cell vertical missiles. Mine's also a biped it's just a lot bulkier. Should be relatively similar though, a lot of playing keep away with missiles. Since yours is more mobile, it can definitely be more aggressive and up close with that gatling gun though.
i try to build a set without meta weapons for the full story BUTT sadly needle gun is needed because of the worm... i changed my left zimmy with the knife lazer sgotgun but is there another weapon that cracks the worm?
it actually isn't required, you can sortie without it and G1 Michigan has a go at you but it's entirely possible to beat the worm using regular guns but it takes a LOT longer

This is the build I’ve been using in campaign and multiplayer, I just don’t know how to do the art and decal work, so my Heavy Arms Cosplay Build is Loader 4 color schemed. Also: People been hating on me for this build but they think somehow rocking nothing but missiles and hornet a ten rack of missiles forward and vertical firing on the arms is some amazing hard thought build.
