Hi there great video's of you guys and so nice for your family, what type of sailboat is it and any info on displacements you have learnt about it , I to have been lucky to have been given a sailing boat and have to quickly learn to sail as well as the great number of names to go along with it, I now know that a rope is not a rope ha ha , looking forward to watching as you continue along your adventures sailing
This boat is a Seaward 24, which displaces about 3,000 pounds. The other boat on the channel is a Compac 19, which only displaces 2,000 pounds. They're both shoal draft boats (long but stubby keel) so they only draft 2-2.5 feet. Fair Winds!
