Yeah, it was pretty exciting up here for a couple of nights, but all is calm now. No more visits from the bears.

It looked like the lid stayed on, so the racket strap worked.

The lid DID stay on despite being a very cheap Harbor Freight strap.

Never thought of it that way. Ha ha!! I was just really surprised to see bears fighting on our game camera about 100' from our house.

Oh no. So sorry. I am glad however that apparently the bees had moved on and avoided the terror of their hive being robbed.

Yeah, we hadn't seen any activity from that hive the last time we were up there before this happened. So, I really believe the bees were already gone. At least I choose to believe that.
