In this video we are installing the swarm that we caught at our friends' house on the next mountain over from us. This swarm is going into the Stumpy Hive, a 20-frame Layens insulated hive that we built ourselves. This swarm had been in the swarm box for about 3 weeks and had lots of capped brood and some capped honey. We'll keep the bees up here on the mountain this summer and decide where they'll spend the winter later on in the year.
