It took 40 years for him to get rid of 3/4 of the corruption. With current form of government you can't do that anymore, it's always short term election renewable 2 or 3 times max. /0/

Being a Muslim nation help, all 5 years -2 corruption. Can use that to make money as well, just debase currency and delete the corruption from it.

I've always wondered how do they manage to mess up a campaign this badly, it's so bad I'm pretty sure it's intentional. Worse than that, they still somehow managed to blob a lot and have a good portion of Africa. The only time I had my country in such dire situation was when I was gunning for true heir of Timur, because of the many trucebreaks and over-reliance on debasing, but there's no such achievement in Africa as far as I know.

yea, it's surprising. when i played Sweden for the first time(this was on 1.29 or 1.30 patch), i sank so much money into the first few wars, by 1500s i was bankrupted, army + fleet under force limit, only 1 cannon, and still losing money. so i started debasing currency and somehow stabilized around 20 something corruption (money used on construction)

Here is a challenge that I've tried and failed multiple times: in the map overhaul mod called Alki, Texas starts with 75 minimum autonomy in all their provinces and a bunch of other BS, and you have a neighbour that is almost as big as you and doesn't have the debuffs. Good luck.

I have a disaster campaign (play a successful Cuzco but didn't know the last reform will give you the same tech and institutions from the colonial nation. Become a republic and waste so much PP for a losing war. Doesn't want to lose so I rage quit sadly the origin dlc corrupt the save so if one day you have corrupt save keep ip cause other player could continue in their pc.

i only get into corruption when i'm in a very bad shape, but i get rid of it as soon as possible, i don't think i've ever passed the 10, but i've always manage to keep my economy in the green, i've never tried the bankruptcy

it wouldn't make sense considering Russia isn't even form yet and Russia kinda come from Ukraine, it would just be forming Russia in a little different way
