Your here because you have water coming out of your exhaust and your wondering why and if it’s an issue. Well let me calm your nerves down by saying that usually it’s completely normal. Your vehicles engine creates a lot of heat and water vapor and needs to dispose of the water somewhere. It does that through the exhaust pipe. By the time the water vapors get to the back of the exhaust condensation takes place and turns it into water. Another reason water is coming out is because the catalytic converters is changing the harmful byproducts that we don’t want to be released into the air into better products like water. So water coming out of your tailpipe is a good way to tell if your catalytic converter is working properly! The only time you should be worried about water coming out of your tailpipe is if there is smoke coming out with it. Then you might have a serious issue and need to bring it to someone to get it looked at immediately.
