The 2001 Chevrolet Camaro SS was one of the final years of the 4th generation. By 2001 horsepower was a priority once again and numbers were climbing each year. With a muscle car heritage dating back to 1967 and V8 power under the hood. Is this 2001 Camaro SS something you should buy now because prices will be going up or pass on it all together?

I've got a 98 & an 02 in the garage like new. 45,000 & 27,000 miles. Both SS convertibles. At this point I'm not sure if I should drive em or keep them off the road 🤔???

I remember that car so well back in the day not a big fan of the interior but that car is so clean from the outside my buddy had a 97 Camaro z28 6 speed manual with a vortech supercharger about 20 years ago that shit was badass! Crazy how things have changed over the years 🤔🇺🇸👍

Oh yeah it'll definitely be a collector along with the Foxbodies, Grand Nationals, GMC Syclone & Typhoons, 70's-80's & 90's Camaros, 80's Trans Am GTA, Chrysler Conquest and the Dodge Daytona and the early 80's Dodge Shelby Charger with the Turbo.....

I had one like pretty much identical to this brand new. Was a fun car. Loved the drop top. Not the fastest car I have driven, but one of the best for meeting ladies especially in Las Vegas back in the day.

RAITI'S HOW U DOING? .I YUST HAVE ONE OF THOSE BACK ON THE 2001 CAMARO BUT IT WAS 6 CYLINDERS. I LOVE THAT CAR BUT 2 YEARS LATER IT WAS TOTAL IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. SOME DRUNK HIT IT .IT WAS A DISASTER. BUT NOW I PURCHASE THE 2019 CAMARO RS V6 WITH 335 HP N THIS THING RUNS BEAUTIFUL. I DON'T NEED A V8 . V6 WORKS FOR ME. LET SAY LOVE YOUR 2001 CAMARO. I had a 1988 with the stick. A beautiful light blue one. Problem with that car was the sloppy suspension and handling. It really didn't like getting airborne. At all.

Really nice ride, Joe. Too bad you were not able to do a test drive, or even just a start-up to hear that exhaust. a little more time with viewing the interior would have been nice too. I really like that generation of Camaro. I even think that model looks better than when they came back out in 2010! Good job, as always, keep em' comin'.

I'm not really a Camaro fan, but this one looks quite snazzy. With a six-speed manual, it would be downright sexy. An automatic in a car like this is a sin. The eleventh commandment: Thou shall not put an automatic transmission in a performance car.

Great review Joe! Back in the day I had an '89 RS with the 305, 5 speed and T Tops. Driver side leaked when it rained lol. But that was the norm for T Top cars.

This is a very good looking Camaro. The burnt orange is great. Is top powered? Could you have purchased this with a manual trans? The lower bumper and the wheels are Corvettesque. Save the Wave.

Ha, ha. Joe, this is supposed to be PG rated channel. Never, ever say the "F" word. Okay with the "M" word, just not prefixed with the "F" word. lol I was so out of touch back when these Camaros were being made, so this vid was an eye-opener for me. Like the one C5 vid you had where I commented if THAT was for sale, I'd be interested. Same holds true for this Camaro. Now, staying with the year 2001 and because of your C5 vid, I'm actually looking at '01 Convertible in Dark Bowling Vette w/Lt.Oak interior and top. You just don't see that combo. Plus, it's a 6-speed. Never had a Vette Convertible and I like their profile. Kinda like the FRC vs. the hatch-back. I like the FRC's. You're channel is already costing me time, now let's how much $$$ you're going to cost me. LOL Oh yeah, keep your eyes open for '13 Collector's Edition 427 Vert. What can I say, anticipation is 90% of the enjoyment and it's free. LOL Save the Wave.

I don't like that wedge style generation. makes me want to prop a door open that tends to close on its own. Its a nice car, my brother had one but not my cup of tea but I know the loyalist of GM like it. Could that be why camaro went by by ? IDK. I'm glad they came back for the pony wars but even the newest has a goofy front end. Bring back the IROC but with power this time. GM needs to step up their game or it may go away for good this time. That is a nice example of how nice a cars paint, interior and engine bay can be many years after it was bought with some love and elbow grease. Nice video again, thank you. This hurts, but can you do a couple videos of mid size SUVs. My wife needs the room for 3 car seats for the grandkids. Thanks again.

Not collectible, at least not now. Toyota supras are going for 100 grand in good condition. This might go for 30? Millennials and generation X have money now to spend on cars that they liked in their youth. These type of cars were not really in Zeitgeist for my generation. Were the baby boomers a dead in 20 years you will see Chevelle‘s at a much lower price.
