Is the 2021 Lexus UX250h a GOOD hybrid or MISSING something? 

The only brands I would buy a car from are Toyota and Lexus. Reliability all the way 💪

Beautiful car. Fantastic presentation as always Joe. The one reason I won't zonk the prop rods like you do, is because they guarantee safety forever with no chance of the bonnet falling on your head as you check your engine fluids!!!

This is a car that can easily fit in my lineup along my gas drinker GX460. This UX is definitely a good option for every day travel in the city.

I love my Lexus UX! It’s perfect for me I added the safety sensory package.The touch screen and radio operation is a bit frustrating to deal with. The car is very comfortable but when driving it doesn’t have much visual when looking side to side. The back seats are a bit tight especially for me when I have two kiddies with the car seats. I didn’t purchase the hybrid cause I don’t want to pay over 1K to replace the battery. But the hybrid is a quiet drive and smooth! I still love my car anyway!

I've been looking at small SUVs that are hybrid....and this Suv is a better deal than the RAV4s and CRVs. I'm saving up for a UX now!

I had it as a loaner. I love how it handles better than my RX. If I was not married with no kids I’d get this over the RX

Funny you praised the visibility. My wife owns one of these and we feel the visibility is its biggest weakness. The A,B,C pillars are all above average in size. Personally the B pillar is the most frustrating to me when backing out of parking spots or on the highway. Personally I think it has ample power around town or on the highway and I can easily get 45mpg out of it. It is a good little car!

This car would be nice if Lexus can add some sound deadening and add a touch screen during their mid cycle refresh.

Joe and Lori: Another great review and outstanding camera work. For 43 grand I’m still zonking the lack of touch screen, the trac-pad and sluggish Acceleration and plain door panels. Great green color and super mpg’s. zonk the CVT tranny!

The placement of start stop button on the inner side of the car bothers more than I thought. Especially when you got out of the car and forget to turn it off since it is so quiet idle. You have to reach over while standing up quite often

The weird thing about the up here in Canada is the ventilated seats are standard on the base model, but if you take any of the F-Sport packages, they remove the ventilated seats.

I owned a Lexus ES for about a week already. It is not so bad pertaining to the trackpad once you’re use to it. At the beginning it is kinda difficult.

with that CD player for the 10 inch its a DVD player also. So you can watch movies while in park

Drove this as a rental for a day. Would not recommend for tall couples (im 6'2) if you want to have people in the back. Perfect car for a young (kidless) couple :). Fancy on the inside and the rugged look helps as well.

I love it. It does sip gas. But it has the tiniest gas tank and you'll fill up just as often as other cars anyway. Granted, you can pay with your pocket change.

Great interior, love playing my old CDs, without having to rip them, and enjoy. The touchpad should be easy to use, like on my laptop. Voice commands are great.

I'm a prop rod guy myself. I'd hate for the struts to give out if I were under the hood looking at something.

The pricing here means that a fully loaded one is worth more than a base NX hybrid which offers much space

We have the non-hybrid version of this car in our family corral. After nearly a year of service, one word: FLAWLESS! I see this as an affordable luxury daily driver for the urban commuter who wants top rated safety, high mpgs, exceptional handling in this class and a reasonable level of, "Hey! Look what I've got!!!" social cache. As for hybrid, or no hybrid, for me it depends on whether you're a urban or rural driver. Ours is a 90% rural driver, so the 3mpg gain in highway driving would take over 100,000 miles to pay for the "hybrid premium". Yes, sometimes buying a car is about math.🤔

i bought one of these last weekend.. Believe it or not but I found that the non F-Sport seats to be more comfortable. :)

It's a Prius engine right? The reason I ask is because I have 2014 Prius and it pushes 140hp. Keep doing what you guys are doing, a video that you guys did covering the RX350 posted me to get that for the wife. Great job guys

I test drove this before. It’s nice but If you buy this car, it needs to have the triple beam LED package. It’s 2022 almost. I refuse to buy any car that doesn’t use all LEDs 😤😤

I love Lexus but when checking this car out we ended up choosing a Venza. But if your looking for a small commuter car then pick this up.

its missing the 360 degree aka surround view camera system.... and then they also got rid of the triple beam headlights on the F sport trims.... smh Lexus

Hi Joe I was not expecting this

I hardly see any of these on the road. Maybe 10 Mercedes GLA per 1 Lexus UX. Which is odd since I think it’s a decent vehicle. But I still prefer the Volvo XC40 over this, the UX being the easy second choice. I drove the German equivalent and I wasn’t as impressed as the Volvo or Lexus.

I was interested in this, until I saw the low HP and slow 0-60 times.

I have the 2020 F Sport and love it love it.

Even as a Toyota/Lexus fan, I think the XC40 is the best vehicle in the segment, better than even the Germans. Of course, I would only consider leasing any of them. The UX is too slow for my tastes, and built to a price point.

Great video. My wife wants one of these. Local dealer said the 21s are trickling in; which is the only way you can lease one. They have some 20s left but no lease deals. The whiteish looking leather is called birch I am told. How do ya keep that clean. I must be too much of a country boy trying to step into the luxury market.

I thought that was a Mazda 3 hatchback from the thumbnail. Lol. its pretty sleek though. That side badging really should be on the rear.

Proud new owner of the 2021 UX F Sport AWD. I drove a 2016 RAV for 5 years and wanted to move down to a smaller daily driver. I also test drove the NX, preferred the ride of the UX. The fit and finish, safety ratings, hybrid, and Lexus luxury sold me on this car. The RAV was peppier, however, rode like rubbish, horrible road noise, and no fit and finish. Hoping it handles well in the snow!
