That’s that Inline 6 they pull like a freight train. I owned an E46 M3 and it was supercharged dynoed at 525Whp 485 lbs ft torque and it was the most fun car I’ve owned to date. Great video 👍
Very true Audi is behind with their RS vehicles, especially the 4 and 5. RS3 I think is their only performance vehicle worth buying. Beside the R8 of course.
I'm in love with BMW been a fan for some time now. I had a 1997 325i sedan in Boston Green a favorite color I miss it dearly. Thanks for the review and of course the camera angles!
Average new car price is roughly $50,000 now. That's just the average new car price - not even a luxury or sport - it's crazy how expensive all cars are getting.
Like you said, the wheels are a labor of love. I spend 3 times longer cleaning my M2C wheels than I do the entire rest of the car! But they look incredible! Love the M4C wheels too!
Save me the decision and send me one of each lol lol Awesome machine this BMW is!! That nose looks waaaaay better on an all black car that's for sure!! And that Audi is nothing to sneeze at!! Stellar review Joe and Lori and Steven!! Keep em coming man!! That 1M subscribers milestone is right around the corner!! On throttle!!!
You didn't seem as excited with the M4 as when you reviewed the Giulia Quadrifoglio which brought out the kid in you. That was a totally hilarious review watching how excited you got. Excellent camera placements. Love the views.
I have an M340i as well. I wanted to go full M, however I couldn’t stomach the gas mileage. Driving 35-40k per yr, the difference is huge. My car offers plenty of power, speed and enjoyment.
Now this video is worth watching over a fuel saving plug in hybrid! I still despise the large kidney grilles on recent bmws but if you get one in a dark color it blends in. If I were to get one it will definitely be in a dark color
@@darkhaven9119 I'm saying here that each year BMW grill goes bigger and bigger and we don't see the car. Let's go to facts 2021: BMW comes with grill 2022: grill comes with BMW 2023: grill comes without BMW 2024: BMW comes without grill
I absolutely love my G80CXD. It has to be the greatest practical sports car, ever. It goes from Housewife to Stripper with a push of a button. I can have my two kiddos comfortably in the backseat, groceries in the spacious trunk, and after I drop them off, Im gapping C8 Vettes. The potential of the S58 is just mind blowing to a guy who grew up in the 90's and early 2000's when 300HP was something to brag about from a V8, muchless 505AWHP from an inline6. With just a few basic upgrades(Intake, Downpipes, Exhaust, & Tuning Module) you can easily squeeze 680AWHP out of the S58 with just a few gallons of E85. I think the car looks so much better as well with a few exterior upgrades like subtle lowering springs with 13mm spacers, Carbon grill, and a high kick rear carbon spoiler. Its honestly one of the sexiest cars Ive ever owned. Somewhat expensive purchases often come with buyers remorse, but not in this case, as I love the car more every time I drive it. Its my first BMW, and the quality, versatility, & performance has made me a massive fan of the brand. I got extremely lucky to get a perfectly optioned G80CXD, when I was waiting on a G42 to be delivered that the original buyer forfeited(that I also was lucky to get), then a month before my G42 was to arrive my salesman called, because he knew I originally wanted a G42,G80, or G82, and said he had a rich kid that ordered a highly optioned G80CXD and he just found out he knocked up his GF and his parents forced him to forfeit the car and marry the girl. He sent me the spec sheet and it was like I had built it myself, I accepted and thought I may have to wait another X months, but the salesman laughed and said he's looking at it on the showroom floor. I drove 8 hours to pick it up the next day. I called every BMW dealer in an 8 hour range from my house, and told them what I wanted and left my contact info. I lucked into a G42, which turned into a G80CXD, and Im so thankful some squirrel got his nut...
It took a while, but now seein the front 3/4 angle of THIS black M4 Comp!... Used to hate it.. now I'm doing backflips. The xtra wide rear fender smoothly matching up with that wide rubber.👌
I love these new M4s in black but wow, what an underwhelming exhaust tone. Sounds like a Scion TC. And for that price, I shouldn’t have to go to the aftermarket to ramp up the exhaust tones. Also needs some carbon fiber sprinkled on the exterior there-front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, mirror caps, roof and trunk spoiler would be 🤌🏽
I think it’s an incredible vehicle, very sexy. The new grill design threw me off when i first noticed it on a different vehicle but the more i see it the more i like it -looks so much nicer in dark colors, all black YES it just jives right. I agree about the carbon fiber. I’m really digging this interior color. I noticed they have a soft top version.
Great review , I am Bmw fan boy , great performance cars , rear brakes calipers not so pretty like Brembo like the front , and also the engine bracing this year for carbon fiber
As an RS5 owner the G8X is a better performance car, its dynamics and engineering its superior. However, I prefer the Audi because it’s a better daily, it’s more comfortable imo and more classy and it’s pretty fast… When u do some exhaust mods, its just sounds out of this world
5:19 Whatever that is called there. that Turn Signal mounted in the Rearview Mirror Housing. Why can't we get that on muscle cars like the Dodge Hellcat?
Everybody's been over the lung grille since its debut. And now they're adding extractor scoops to the hood that look straight off a Dodge Charger. Good grief, BMW styling used to be cool before they started trying so hard.
..I owned a 2018 M4 Competition Alpine White/gray..now own a 2021 M440i Dravit Gray/oyster…love the 440i but am liking the 2023 M4 more and more…and 2.8 to 60…nice..
Raiti, Looks like M4 Competition had Electric Parking Brakes. Early 4-Series models had the Mid Console Handle Parking Brakes, which I never liked on late model BMWs. Wish you would add the feature to your regular list of reviewed options. Great Review! 👏👏
Very nice car! Makes me wonder what the person who traded this in bought to replace it? Maybe needed more room or was in danger of losing his driver's license. Thanks for sharing Joe!
This might be the one for me it’s looks like a larger brz or frs to me looking from the side and the front just adds the aggressive look they both missed from factory
No offence but I would easily pass this for the RS5 for its interior amenities... including proper rear seats 4/2/4 fold-down with center armrest......
LOL @ The 'this is sweat' comment. Neither rain, sleet, hail, or HEAT...will keep the Raiti's Rides Team from bring'n the business. 🙂 In reference to the car, the grill is perfectly fine with the blacked-out treatment. In other trims, not-so-much. Nice review!
That grill was the reason why I bought an M550. They really need to change it. My BMW dealer said people are actually returning M3s and M4s because they hate the grill so much. BMW....are you listening?
I still cannot understand why BMW wouldn’t do a grand coupe version. I would buy one immediately. BMW has consistently missed the mark on a 4 door coupe M car without needing to go M6.
Joe, as always, thank you for the awesome video. Here's why I went for the RS5, albeit the sportback version. #1 Markups on the BMW were insane and way higher than for the RS5 #2 Dealership experience at BMW was horrible #3 Delivery time: Audi RS5 custom ordered to the factory took 6 months from order date to delivery. For BMW they were estimating at least year and you're on a waiting list. #4 That front grill on the BMW, I was willing to live with it, but now that I have the RS5, I'm glad I didn't get the Bmer. Cheers!
