@@EuroUSA I traded a 2021 Camaro LT1 (that I paid 36k for new) and $8k for a new 2022 Camaro SS 1LE. I have a family discount for GM vehicles because my grandfather is a pensioned GM retiree. I think it saved me $1.5k, can't remember exactly.

The new Camaros are so ugly I don't know how anybody could even look at one. The Camaro died in 2002 1993 to 1997 was the ultimate Camaro. They're so ugly I actually drove one for the first time it was like driving a Caprice with 400 horsepower it was awful. I used to be a Camaro enthusiast I had to sell myself to forward and buy a Ford Mustang because of this BS I'm glad they're going to stop making the Camaros they are so ugly nobody is going to buy them. I sold my soul to a Ford Mustang because I cannot take the new Camaros. Now I have to live in this price driving a Ford Mustang because Chevrolet had to come out with this new body style in 2010 only if I could find a 93 to 97 Z28 Camaro I can get myself back get my Integrity in dignity back the new Camaro sucks..

I have a 2SS and there is a secondary backup camera. You have the option on the rearview mirror to view this backup camera at any time, which can zoom in and out. The view is ridiculous. No blind spots at all.

@@miketym2642 yeah, the rear view camera mirror is sick! Even with it off though, no issues. Love this car. Such a joy to drive.

The only people that have visibility issues are non-drivers, lol. I never had an issue with it.

@@peruvianheat2053 2SS has all premium options, ie, Bose 9 speaker sound system, all safety features such as rear view camera mirror, blind spot monitor, cross traffic alert, collision avoidance (removed if you have PDR, only if you get 1LE), ambient lighting, lighted door sills, dual zone climate control, heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, and heads up display. 1LE track package can be added to either 1 or 2 SS. 1LE includes blade spoiler, front splitter, magnetic ride control, dual mode exhaust, satin black hood wrap, electronic limited slip differential, Ricarro front seats, suede steering wheel, shift knob and seats, and heads up display. I don’t think I’m missing anything.

100% agree! Kinda reminds me of the gripes about the GTO during the early 2000s that supposedly didn’t look like a GTO? One day I took my three favorite years and put them next to each other: 1964, 1970, and 2006. They styling was true to form, they all had 4 headlights, two hood scoops, two tailpipes on each side...whatdafuck do you mean it doesn’t look like a GTO? Can’t please everyone.

The ones complaining can't drive, lol. I didn't have any trouble seeing out of mine either, lol. We bought a 2010 2ss RS back in the day. I can't even imagine what this car must be like.

With the Camaro, you get track performance from the factory. The scat.... Not so much

You can get a used hellcat for cheaper and it will gap the baby 2ss easily

Wow, September!! I ordered my 1LE in late Oct 21, per Chevy, it’s built and in “Awaiting Dispatch” status, which I think is a Ghost term for “sitting waiting on Chips”. Hopefully maybe by mid to late June I’ll have it?? Who knows, Chevy don’t tell you shit!!

The visibility issue is fixed with the digital rear view mirror. The best thing they could’ve put into the Camaro

I actually ended up getting a 1LE 1SS. It sounds crazy, but the handling from what I can tell is way better than the Sti. Still need more testing but good lord these things really are track weapons. Between my 2017 5.0 premium performance pack, 2020 scat pack challenger and 2017 Sti Limited, the 1LE is my favorite by far.

@@mikeclay6089 stock Goodyears is 7k-9k miles. After that go for some PS4s. Tires and install close to 2k

@@RaitisRides thanks for replying! It honestly came down to the looks, I wanted that muscle car look the widebody challenger had in spades. The Camaro has some better features here and there if you option that way but maybe if I ever trade mine it I might grab a 2ss 1le with all the goodies, when I priced it out back in sept a fully loaded one from the factory was actually 4K cheaper then my challenger as I optioned it out. If the Camaro had more of that old school muscle look I’d be driving it right now lol. But as a modern sport car it looks phenomenal

What about the engine is nice? It's way slower than the Mustang and Camaro and gets worse fuel mileage.

@@hecticphusion scats have more horsepower to make up for the weight difference and keep up with the muscle cars in their class (mustang gt and camaro ss). Gas? What are you even talking about scat packs are rated like 1mpg less than the mustang gt and camaro ss

@@QuinLIVE scat packs are significantly slower than the other cars even with the extra horsepower and cost significantly more with comparable options. Also, the 6.4 drinks gas while my 6.2 camaro sips it. I get 30mpg on the highway - good luck with that in the 6.4. The only advantage that Dodge has is that it offers a 4 door still. Chevy was dumb to stop producing the Commodore/SS.

@@hecticphusion “significantly slower” no they aren’t they are literally in line with the GT and SS that’s the entire reason dodge put extra horsepower into them to make up for the weight difference. Official Dealer rated gas mileage for scats is 15 city and 24 HW. Camaro SS: 16 city and 24 HW. That a 1-2 mpg difference straight from dealer estimates yet your acting like we’re comparing the 6.4 to a Prius lmao

Unfortunately the 1LE does not come with a sunroof. You can’t have that on the 1LE. Not sure why GM has it set that way.

The Camaros are getting more power as well. 460hp to 480h on the SS, the ZL1s are getting more power and the ZL1 1LE is getting way more power. It’s going to be in the vicinity of 760 plus if I’m not mistaken.

Problem is they don’t handle well. But I will say I was smoked at a road course by a challenger rt in my 400whp teg lol

@@cormaro13 I had a boosted scat beating stock redeye. I'm getting a chevy ss and either lsa supercharge or procharge it. Had a max effort NA gen 5 that was rowdy, but I'm invested into sedans at the moment since I have to small kids.
