Is the 2023 Lucid Air Grand Touring the BEST new LUXURY sedan to BUY? 

Lucid is definitely up to something. I'd pick this one over Tesla

The lucid air is my favorite of all EV cars. If I had the money, I wouldn’t hesitate to get it. And the rang is by far the best among all EVs. Almost 400 mile range is insane. They nailed this car. It’s absolutely perfect

Had a chance to rent a Lucid Grand Touring while in Miami a couple months ago. Was incredibly fun to drive for a week. The torque and incredibly long range blew my mind. If only I could afford to own one. For now I'll have to settle for Lucid stock 😄

Just test drove this car, in White. The attraction to me is there aren't a lot of them out there The G-Forces this can generate are epic! My guy Joe said 50% finance, 25% buy it cash.

Thanks for reviewing the Lucid Air Grand Touring! I think Lucid is on to something for sure. They have a great product indeed. I know it’s a luxury EV company an all, but I wish they’d release at least a few vehicles in the $40-$50k range to include an SUV (not the Gravity as that’ll surely cost over $70k) to capture the hearts of everyday consumers. Not many of us can afford a $100k vehicle or in my case aren’t looking to spend that much for a vehicle. Price aside, once again, they have a great product. I hope they succeed and are around for many years to come!

That's the most interesting trunk ever. If I had 150k to spend on an electric sedan, I think its gotta be the i7. That flat screen TV in the back is pretty crazy.

Raitis rides is the best ! No one is close to doing reviews as good as him. Usually I wouldn’t care to make a car reviewer but in this case it would be awesome. My favorite part is when he says “On throttle!!!”

The range is great for a ev . When it comes to charging on the road. Thats a major problem when it comes to non telsas. For example, chargers will be offline or limited to around 50kw for example. Some may not even work as well. Also telsa has opened some of there network in California and New York with something called a magic dock . Its basically a ccs adapter connected to the telsa v3 charger . When it comes to the look, this car looks great.

8:57 - That "Air"-emblem font reminds me something from a late-'40s, 1950s era cars with sort of streamline, art-deco details featured on cars back then which is cool. The taillights remind me of Porsche which is not a bad thing, and the car as a whole looks classy and futuristic. A well executed design and brand which I'm seeing more and more around me next to the Teslas that are constantly seen.

the roof could have vinyl wrap applied to block the sun. but lucid should've put a retractable shade.

Lucid air looks so cool. I just hope they will make a cheaper version in the future.

In side EV’s got over 500 miles on a charge with the Lucid air last year.

I think this is the best and most practical sedan you can buy! If only the price wasn’t so high lol

Thats a really expensive repair for that front windshield. But then again its a 100k car. Love the car all in all

My buddy has one of these. I've been in many cars throughout my life and Lucid is one of the most amazing cars I've ever driven. Really a fantastic automobile and so fast!

I test drove the Grand Touring a few weeks ago. It’s the most advanced vehicle I have ever driven. It rides super smooth and has rocket acceleration!

Peter Rawlinson was not a founder of Lucid. Three dudes, one of which was a former Tesla executive, did found Atieva which later became Lucid Motors then Lucid Group. Peter was first hired as Chief Technical Officer then later became CEO.

Made in America EV, this is the benchmark for all EV's, 800hp and this isn"t the top of line model. When I win the lotto this is on my list of cars I would buy.

good review Joe, very unique styling and design. yah, I hated taking off the wrappers to those now and later candies, especially the green apple. I also think the snes was a 16 bit system, but I get the idea, haha.

This is one car you can tell that they weren't concerned with saving money and how cheap can they make it. Its like a technological work of art.

Got to ride in this car and it's incredible. Videos do not do the car justice. The wide stance and low profile is beautiful.

Nicest ev I've seen to date. Interior and exterior are breathtaking but pricing is something to be desired. It's way to expensive and over priced. Unfortunately out of my price range and cant afford one of these but if these were cheaper this car deserves to be in my garage

Test drove the Lucid last month, love the vehicle, it is a beautiful ride. I now have a different perspective on electric cars. The only compliant is the cost is too high. Hopefully one day it will be mines😊

I really like the updated tech in this car, and it does seem like it'll be overwhelming for first time buyers. But I'll never be able to afford it. $150k? No chance in my lifetime. I do like how the display is right in front of your eyes, not in the center like a Tesla. Great design there imo. I do agree, once we actually saw the car in drive the covering on the driver side door really is big. It's right in your face, and a blindspot. If anything, a redesign, they should find a way to cut that down. If anything, there should be an option to remove the glass roof, that seems more like a niche thing vs. something many would want.

I'm not sure if it's the best luxury sedan you can buy, but it's arguably the best EV you can buy if you place your emphasis on tech and advancement. There isn't anything else that can touch it tech, range wise. Quality isn't there yet, but neither is Tesla's. The legacy players should be studying this car very closely.
