Weight means a lot less nowadays , it can be overcome with suspension and power, among other things. Plus it’s impossible to make a light weight car have that “heavy-built” luxury feel, that come to expect with a Benz
This car takes it to the 911 and then some. The sound is intoxicating, and the grip on the cornering is superb. I wish I could afford one before the world goes crazy with electric cars. Thanks for the upload.

The Alpine Grey. The black wheels with yellow painted brakes. The aggressive wide stance. The large Mercedes emblem on the nose. The interior and performance. This is automotive perfection. Great review and fantastic camera work fellas.
Mercedes owes you a big one Joe, I'm a diehard Porsche fan and your body language during this one sold me on the idea of at least trying a AMG before (and if ever haha) I pull the trigger on a pocket rocket like those. 198k ain't bad vs a GT3RS :D !! I absolutely friggin love this car. In my dream 6 car garage, this is in it. And I love the fact that unlike a Porsche or corvette, it's styling makes it so you can drive by some people and they might not even notice you. It's very subtle styling granted the kind of car it is. HOMERUN AMG!!
Sharp styling and a sweet interior. We know a fortune to maintain and repair, along with often large depreciation. However for those who can afford to lose money or don't really care. It's a sweet looking sports coupe/grand tourer with a set of cohones.
I am a big fan of European muscle cars. They have so much emotion and feeling unlike those electric toys. Once again Joe you have done a phenomenal job. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.👍👍👍

Joe, your videos are great ! ! I have a SUGGESTION for you. During the next 5 or 6 videos, maybe you should start thinking of ending the mechanization aspect of your reviews. People can guess every move you make, before you make it. Check out the two guys from Canada and their "Throttle House" reviews, they are all different. Thank you. Love this car but I wish the spoiler was recessed for a cleaner look out back and activated at a certain speed. But I wouldn't kick it out for eating in the garage😂

If it was a manual transmission and 70 or 90 grand, I would so consider getting one and making payments until I die. This ride is hot af. .,, love it so much because it looks like my modified 2003 350Z
I think that Mercedes-AMG took the grand-tourer approach for the second generation of the AMG GT. It's still a performance car at heart but not on the same level as the first generation where it sat on its own bespoke chassis, was more front mid-engine, had a transaxle, and was RWD like a true sports car should be. As a result, some may think the new AMG GT isn't as special as the previous generation because it has all those sports car/supercar qualities. Regardless, making the GT the coupe version of the SL makes a lot of sense from a business perspective since creating a bespoke chassis costs a lot of money. They also need to either get rid of that side fender vent or make it functional. Mercedes-AMG is like the king when it comes to fake vents and the fact that the fender vent is there just for style and nothing else comes across as being really lazy on their part. Why can't it be both for style AND functionality?
The partition will NOT fold down on the gt’s that do not have the back seat option. Only the back seat option folds. ;-( dumb. But waiting of the rear seat build I did with areo pkg.
Hey Joe don’t get me wrong this is a very good nice sports car. Mercedes did a good job on the design. But I’m picking the corvette Z06 over this car Porsche is not on my list I’m not a Porsche fan so this makes my number two choice. Thank you Joe for another great review. Keep up the good work 👍🏾😀
Only Mercedes and BMW have the ability to come out with a refresh/redesign on Tuesday, and IMMEDIATELY make the previous gen that you saw monday and were going back to buy on tuesday look 20 years old🤙😎🤙
