Next year I'm planning to update my 2002 Tundra to a 2025 Platinum IForce Max with a 6.5 bed. I'l be retired and finally able to afford my first new truck in 23 years.

Finally got my 2024 Blueprint Limited 6.5 foot bed, lots to learn with all the technology but loving it so far 1000 miles no complaints.

I bought my Tundra from Byers in Ohio in March. I have a pretty loaded Magnetic Black Limited Nightshade 6.5 ft bed and I love it. I drive past the Blueprint Tundra in this video everyday. Really appreciate your videos. I have become an addict. Can send you my window sticker if you want. They were really flexible on final pricing. These videos helped me a ton when researching trucks.

Last week we picked up our Limited with 6.5 bed. It was a long and hard find to ultimately locate the one that matched our wants. We can only Scream at Toyota to do something to get more of these trucks of this type into the Chicago / Kansas city regions. Who should we believe of this distribution system? Dealers point at Toyota and Toyota points at the region managers / dealers. Our finding is that there are trucks in markets that rarely sell trucks and here in the heartland about every household has a truck and very few are Toyota. Whos to blame?

Off road gives multi terrain select, crawl control, locking rear differential. Chrome surround, chrome rear bumper panels, bilstein suspension, skid plate, trd grille, 18” wheel and tires package (although some lots include the 20” trd wheels from the higher trim off roads) The sport gives you a body color exterior, trd grille, bilstein suspension with a 1” drop in the front, 20” trd black wheels. Off road and sport give you a red trd engine start button, sport pedals, trd shifter.

I dig it. I usually say, "for me personally leave the crewcab/6.5' bed configuation to the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, but the new Tundra looks really nice with that configuration with the TRD O/R package. I would get mine in Platinum trim if I were to buy one. I imagine the 6.5' bed gives you more payload, and a higher tow rating as well.?.?

I would of thought that the longer wheelbase would have bumped up its capabilities, but I guess if Toyota didn't change the suspension setup that the extra weight might lower it some, but IDK. I was wondering if you might touch on something I noticed on the new Tundras the other day. I've never owned or considered a Tundra, but I'm really liking the new one, and I keep finding myself looking at them, even though I don't need to be buying a new truck right now. Lol. Anyways, I was looking at some the other day, and for the first time I noticed that the paint on ths bottom of the truck looked messed up, like they have poor QC at the factory. The salesman told me that that was just something Toyota does to their vehicles, (not just Tundra) but I've never noticed it before, and I know a lot of people with Taco's, Tundras, Camry's, Lexus's, etc. Does the rough paint texture on the bottom of the Tundra help prevent chipping or something? When I noticed it I really didn't like it because I keep noticing it, but if it's a thing that's actually functional, and works to protect the paint, then I can probably get my mind right with it. Thanks.

My wife and I are contemplating purchasing a ‘24 Tundra 1794 w/TRD OR w/5.5ft. bed. It’s black in color and the dealer is asking $68K. MSRP is $70K and some change. My question is that an acceptable deal or should attempt to negotiate a better deal? One thing to note, I live in Fairbanks, Alaska so it’s not like I can drive 30 miles and work with another dealer. The closest dealer outside of Fairbanks is in Anchorage 400 miles away owned by the same autogroup. Thought I’d ask and see your thoughts. Yesterday was the first time I had driven the new Tundra and had my wife test drive the truck today.

I prefer Platinum Crew Max 6.5 bed i am not a fan of the western theme truck.

2024 Limited TRD Off Road is body color. The other trims with TRD still have chrome (SR5 & 1794) or dark chrome (Platinum)

I’m sorry I can’t share your enthusiasm with the New Gen.3 Toyota Tundra.🫤Owning Toyotas since 2005 I’ve never seen so many recalls being observed.👎 This Tundra will never grow on me as you say to maybe happen NOT. Maybe next Gen,because I know my old Tundra has a long way to make a Million Miles.👍

It's rough, but you get used to it and learn where and how you can turn and park.

I really dont know why, I have both Sequoia 23 and Tundra 24 and the turning radius on the Sequoia reminds me my good old 14 Tundra { I really miss that truck} it was really great, but the new tundra turning radius sucks, Both sequoia and tundra share same platform and toyota should put same mechanics on tundra and problem solve.....thats my take

I have a 23 Tundra SR5 CrewMax with 6.5 bed. Love it and would not go smaller. I like the blue Platinum with the black leather interior you showed. I do not like the silver 1794 with tan interior. Those colors do not go together IMO.

After waiting almost 2 years for a double cab limited TRD off road 😮 now discontinued here in Canada 🇨🇦 I found 2 weeks ago a limited crew max I force max with 6.5 feet bed waiting for me. And I bought it right away 😅 I’m so happy about it. It’s perfect and it’s cost only 3500$ can more than previous 😊 I still have the 6.5 feet bed I wanted but I have so much more with de crew max I force max. I consider to be lucky. So easy towing, so quiet, much more gas cheaper than 2018 Tundra. Tanks for the review.

I got a SR5 with the crewmax and 6.5 in January. Great truck, it has the bed lights/outlet, big screen, “enhanced stereo” (not JBL), heated front seats/wheel, tow mirrors (don’t like them, too big) only things I wish I had are the acoustic glass and better headlights

I love my 2022 Lunar Rock Limited TRD 6.5 bed. Crew Max. Gotta have the 6.5 bed for my atv and my 6x12 trailer for more atv’s Not many 6.5 beds out there!
