Is the ALL NEW 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer the KING of luxury SUVs? 

Do you know if they will make the grand Cherokee or even the track hawk with this technology? I would be very interested in getting one if they do.

if you also see the windows there is bronze tint built inside the window as well it really keeps that luxurious elegant bronze finish around the car.

See the technology, there are many things the Escalade lacks, the infotainment features, then 2 big screens at 2nd row, just awesome interior, then driver's display, as well as passenger's side.

They definitely brought their "A" game to the table. Bold statements will be made across the board with the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer which will have the competitors go in immediate frantic mode.

Jeffery Baxter I highly doubt anyone is going in frantic mode. It’s a very nice vehicle but the price isn’t for everyone. Way too expensive for the mainstream audience. Starts at 90k plus and shoots way past $110k and that’s before taxes.

@@spacefras The starting price is less than $90K for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It's actually $86K. Just $10K more than the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS. Earlier today I was at the dealership to test drive the newly released Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Nice SUV by the way. I'll be getting it. Anyway, while at the dealership couple sales associates said that they already received a good amount of customer orders for the upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer. So, it'll be fine. These days people want features, overall comfort and a spacious SUV. As long as they get those three needs from the vehicle they're gonna buy it.

Jeffery Baxter my exact point. People are gonna choose the bmw or Mercedes because of the name. It’s a jeep vehicle selling for that price. They are not gonna sell that well. The vehicle looks amazing but if I was looking to buy a 3 row suv it surely won’t be in that price range.

Not necessarily disagreeing with you. However, why not add an L or ESV option? The short versions Ford & GM offer do nothing for me. I need the ESV. If you're going to compete....add the cargo room that the others have.

@@SJRS700 Tesla infortainment system is not the best. Its practical for tesla!!! And it doesn't provide better experience that other vehicles. Tesla has a good Infortainment but not the best. I am familiar with both Tesla and the Cadillac Escalade 2021; Tesla being an Electric car doesn't mean it has better Infortainment systems. Atleast they tried on Model S Plaid but still you can't compare it to the luxury segment cars. We haven't been able to dig deeper to this Grand Wagoneer but I can already see just from the Hardware perspective of the infortainment is 100 Times Tesla. We haven't gone to the Software part yet which is the question. For the Cadillac Escalade which I know and experience already It is way beyond Tesla infortainment in Hardware and Software (Practicality). Similar Tesla despite being an electric car it doesn't mean it has the best autonomous driving. Super Cruise is way better and leading self-driving systems in the auto-industry than Tesla's.

@@SJRS700 I’ve never been interested in electric cars and I’ve never looked into them. But , I have heard good things about Tesla’s interiors and displays. Are the sound systems high performing like the Macintosh here? They are a pretty high end company so I am thinking so.

@@performingspecs7841 i dont know about the sound system but the infotainment has a lot of features like a lot, you are missing on a really great thing dude, any engineer who has seen a tesla is stunned by the engineering in a tesla. I too live petrol cars but you gotta check out a tesla not the overview but deep from a professional if you can. You wont regret it. Before learning about it from a professional i was too like yeah its good and modern but after that i was stunned they are a masterpiece like a decade ahead, anyone can make a interior or paint or body frame but the batteries they are the real thing!

I agree. I work at the Warren Truck Plant (WTAP,) where these are made and I say the same thing everyday I go to work. The exterior, mainly the rear side windows are a letdown for some reason to me lol. It's a beautiful vehicle overall though imho especially the interior.

Imagine if Rolls Royce makes a SUV of this size 😂

It's pretty much an "SRT" if you know your engines (you wouldn't believe how many folk really don't know the 392 = 6.4L at this point!) Doubt they'll Hellcat this one sadly. All hybrid and EV incoming at this point Most we can hope is that the straight six that has re-emerged is the power plant that's getting the powerpack bolted to it (and straight crate 🤞)

The exterior looks better in person I think it's hard to translate how big it is in pictures and video but in real life the design makes more sense?

I was really digging so many of the different styling elements.

@@Ballista762 jeep is already in this price range with the trackhawk and currently seen as much more of an American luxury brand than Chrysler is. Last gen grand cherokee can touch 70k without being a Srt and the current wrangler can touch 70k in non 392 trims.

@@ChrisH421 that’s the problem though. Chrysler WAS their luxury brand. They always had the most luxurious cars of all Chrysler brands. The problem is they only make the boring Pacifica minivan and the ancient 300 now. Oh and let’s not forget their “third” vehicle, the voyager, which is basically just a cheaper less refined Pacifica. I just don’t understand what they plan on doing with the brand, as it’s supposed to be their luxury brand.

I'm on agreeable terms with you about the price being up there. A high base price and a high top price. At the same time, at least we all see the reasons why. It has better engine performance over the Escalade and Navigator. Also, a more luxury feel along with the looks. There's more passenger space in the second & third rows of seats, more cargo space behind the third row, more cargo space when all seats are folded down and better towing capacity coming in at 9,850 pounds. Towing capacity from the other two comes in at only 8,300 pounds for the Navigator and 7,700 pounds for the Escalade.

The escalade costs about just as much and it was made to compete with it

Well that's why they have the Wagoneer & Grand Cherokee L at somewhat more attainable price points in their top trim versions

Because the other manufacturers do not make things that look this nice inside and out and anyone that buys this only keep them 3-5 years max with a warranty before they get a new one. Why keep your vehicle 10 plus years when they keep making new ones. You must be talking about Toyota only or Lexus because Nissan makes crap and so does Subaru and Hyundai. Honda just makes commuters and so does Toyota. If you like boring vehicles yes Japan has you covered. Maybe the GTR the outdated GTR. German cars what? For reliability? Lol have you ever heard of BMW or Mercedes having good reliability or resale. Doesn’t exist.

You can get a fully loaded telluride for half this. The Telluride is really just missing better armrests for the mid seats, a dual exhaust and a panoramic sunroof and it'll be the perfect machine.

@@paulm6481 the dollar amount it starts at and more importantly the the $amount of the top trim with all the bells and whistles tells you their target, the are targeting the consumer not affected buy recession or unemployment or inflation, car companies spend a lot on market research before spending a lot on development research they are not making it for the people that can't afford it. Relatively speaking in it's segment it will sell very well.

What is reliable in your book exactly. Current gen Grand Cherokee driver here, and seriously haven't had anything crazy bad happen with it. Especially not any worse that the other guys you clowns like to swear by 😉

Yeah and plus there’s a bunch of tech too that could end up being faulty. I hope they make this thing more reliable it would be a shame if they didn’t
