Love my 23C, great home mixer, sounds seriously awesome. Only things I wish it had was FX send knobs for each channel and the ability to completely bypass the crossfader.
Hola. Estoy por comprar Xone 43, puedo comprar en 800€. Xone 92 son 1750€, demasiado para mí. Hay diferencia en calidad de sonido entre xone 43 y 92 ? Gracias
I want to use Traktor 3 to mix Vinyl with dvs Simuntaneously AND use an Traktor X1 to use its effects on Vinyl or dvs. Does the Effects work like that?
Question, can I play using 4 decks (2 TT + 2 digital from Traktor) using this mixer? What if I do the DVS mod? Am I then only limited to 2 DVS decks? Thnx
Do you mean that I can play a remix set (3rd deck) while playing 2 decks via Traktor since the soundcard allows it connected directly to master out? Am I correct?
Hi I just want to make a general question on this beautiful community. I just Buy a xone 23c one day ago and I notice that for example, when I have volume fader of channel 1 to the top and I press cue for channel 2 , for some reason in my headphones volume just go down a little bit. I don' know if that is normal or it should have same level of volume than my fader, thanks???
I have the Xone 23C and I have the Pioneer 250 Mk2, I can tell you for sure that the Xone 23C sounds much better, I don't use my pioneer mixer anymore, it's just standing here. The Xone 23C sounds much warmer and has fantastic filters, Don't hesitate to buy the Xone 23C.
I have bought 2 of these 23c for a club they both had trouble in less than a years time. So I bought a 23 and simply switched out the complete front panel to fix one. I am ordering and replacing parts on the others. There is Nothing keeping food and crumbs and dirt from entering the sliders, which prematurly caused the sliders to fail. I also took apart the slider to find they have a row of fingers which slide on a resistive covered board. These fingers get loaded with dirt and anything which falls into it. Does anyone have a part number from Digikey or otherwise to buy this 2 dollar part/parts?
In reference to the topic at hand, while the Xone series, particularly the Xone 23 and 43 models, offer satisfactory mixing capabilities, their overall quality is lacking. The PX5 mixer provides a more enjoyable and versatile mixing experience, surpassing the Xone 23/43 in terms of quality. However, it still falls short in certain aspects, and its internal construction could be improved. An alternative worth considering is the Ecler NUO 2.0 mixer, which offers superior build quality at a comparable price point to the Xone 23.
Hi everyone ! I have a doubt: Can I send 3 channels from Traktor to the xone 23c mixer, via usb, to use channels 1 and 2 for track decks and channel 3 for remix deck? Respectively on Traktor and the xone 23c mixer. Or channel 3 and 4 in Xone 23c, are only able to receibe signal from line/phono? Thanks a lot !
I have this very same question! From what I understand, you cannot link Traktor's Channel C to master out directly so it's linked to either two of the faders which dont work out for us actually. 43c is our only option unfortunately
Can I use the 23c with no decks, i.e. only the mixer with a laptop? Would I need an additional controller? I would really appreciate any recommendations.
@@jezo-matic991 thanks I should have mentioned I have 1210s. I'm travelling a lot for work and I'm looking for a good portable setup that doesn't feel boring.
@@Eyeballpaul84 the gain on the phono inputs - using 2x technics 1210s - when playing records at 33, to get any decent type of level on the meter you pretty much have to crank the trim/gain way past 3 o'clock to get the signal at around -3 on the meter, if you intend to blend using the channel faders its doenst give you a lot of room to play with... its not so bad when yr playing records at 45 cuz the the signal is stronger. phono gain is strange on this mixer. you wouldn't want to do this, but i've put a record on at 33 turned the gain to its max, turned all the eqs all the way to their max and i can't get the the meter to hit +10. done the same at 45 and +10 on the meter starts to flicker. asked westendDJ about the gain on the phono inputs and apparently this is intentional! In the manual - they tell you how to boost this if you are brave enough to open the mixer the other thing is the signal to the headphones. when yr not cueing, the master out goes to the headphones. you can't stop this. its always ther even though you have the main mix/master coming out of the main speakers -- the only way to stop it is to hit cue on the channel you want to mix in, which is fine since you trying to mix, but as soon as you stop with the cue, the master out is back in the headphones. before the 23 - i had the 22 for over 9-10 years. did not have any of the issues mentioned above. and if it wasn't for the fact that it started crackling i'd still be using it. the layout on the 22 was much better, you have lot more control with what is going on in the headphones. each channel had its own meter alongside the channel fader which where also longer. yes the 23 has better sound etc etc but the the layout is terrible, the gain knobs (2 of them for one channel) are a dumb idea and very close to each other making them fiddly. it all just adds to the frustration of using it and getting in the way of actually mixing, am trying to like it, but am hugely disappointed, and likely going to return it. had i had a chance to try it in the shop i probably would not have bought it. but since everything is closed i took the risk.
@@languageblock damn.. I have a xone 22 and I struggle with the cue'ing system because I've been so used to the current generation DJMs. I was thinking about buying a Xone 23 thinking that the cue'ing might be similar to that of the DJM but from what I'm reading from you, isn't the case.
