Is The BMW M2 COMPETITION The BEST M Car For The Road? 

I've had mine for 2 years and absolutely love it.. my favorite M car of 4 that I've owned.

As an owner of an M140i for the past 4 years, the M2C is the ultimate M car for the UK roads. I had plans on spending £20k upgrading my car, and it would turn it into an M2C, M3, M4 killer. But it would still be an M140i. I stuck with a downpipe, remap, and xHP3 software for the ZF8, and for a total spend of £23k I think I made the right choice. My car is faster on a roll race than a standard M2C, RS3, A45s, and many other 'fast' cars, and I'm still only 23 grand into it, and it's been running 455bhp/634nm reliably for the past 4 years no probs. The ZF8 as standard is a lot smoother than the DCT but a bit dim-witted until you map it with xHP3, but after you do that, the ZF8 is a better gearbox in every situation. Smooth when cruising but just as fast, just as direct, and if anything better than the DCT imo, and being in the motor trade I have driven a number of different cars for comparison.

M140i guys in the comments. “My M140 is quicker than an M2c” Yeah but it’s still a tribute act to a real M car 😂.

The F87 will be a classic. Such a compact, nimble and fast car. A downpipe, a lower suspension and a tune and you're flying! DCT or Manual doesn't matter.

My M2C is my daily driver, I’ve had no issues with that being a dd other than it’s not the best in the snow, but snow days are very few compared to the rest of the year

Thank goodness for BMW's latest offering of the G87 M2 that looks like it's been hit with an Ugly Stick! Makes me appreciate just how much nicer my M2 C looks.

G87 fast & lazy, SQ & Borin & made in mexico.... F87 playful & nimble, sharp curve & aero, car design connected to driver emotion & it was M car Made in Germany by German....

Had my M2C DCT for around 6 months and it's been my daily, absolutely brilliant car. I agree the best m car visually and drivers car, I owned a og m2 for 3 and half years and absolutely loved it, on the lookout now for the m2 competition alow mileage one, anyway great informative video. Thanks buddy😊
