The coriolis effect is barely measureable on a small scale REGARDLESS of hemisphere. The draining direction has been shown to be almost entirely reliant on the shape of the container and direction the water entered it (even if left stationery for half an hour so it 'appears' flatr), or angular momentum added to the container such as the bucket trick used on the equator (which works anywhere).
Listen buddy. I have seen this in action. I livenon the Northern hemisphere but I have also lived South of the equator. I can assure you baths are the same shape and size in Australia and New Zealand. The water goes down in different directions every single time.

If the earth is a globe then why is there no measureable curvature? I've worked on two research projects using professional survey equipment and we have not found any evidence of measureable curvature.

The curvature isn't necessary if you believe in evolution, eventually the curve will evolve to be seen, given enough time. I have faith that evolution will vindicate us round earthers.

great video but one error: water does not go down the sink in different directions in the North and South hemisphere. The Coriolis effect does not apply here. This is a basic one to de-bunk. My year 8 students have been doing this for decades, with tens of thousands of data points. It is simply due to the perpendicularity of the drains installed by plumbers, they always lean one way or the other slightly and the tiniest difference, with the position of an imperfectly round sink will cause a bias... it is close to 50% in the long term average each way.
There is a video done in Africa right on the exact line of the equator. They set up three water tanks. One each side of the equatorial line and the third one directly atop of it. The tanks were all fitted with a waste drain.They then poured one can of water into the one on the Northern side, and to further denote rotation, placed a Frangipanni flower directly above the drain. The flower has segmented petals, sort of like a propeller, so as the water drained away the flower revolved in the direction of the flow. Next, they performed the same test on the Southern side of the equatorial line and noticed the flower rotated in the opposite direction. The third test was carried out on the tank that was placed directly on the equatorial line and the flower remained still, not turning at all...

You can see the same constellations at the same time near the center in the south they are spinning around. (e.g. Phoenix, Octant, Swordfish) You shouldn't see them all the time, if the earth would be flat. All constellations together fit into a whole sphere, not into a disc. This is prove enough. The best debunking of the Flat Earth is sunrise and sunset direction in the southern hemisphere. According to the Flat Earth the sun travels between the tropic of cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. Yet the sun rises well south of east in the Southern Hemisphere. According to the Flat Earth model the sun should rise North East. But it rises south east. This debunks the Flat Earth map.

Earth would not remain flat for a long time as gravity will make sure it again pops up into a sphere. Remember, gravity pulls equally from all sides, hence planets are spherical. Now, if earth was flat and not a sphere, then it would obviously stop rotating. This will lead to the following problems. Firstly, only revolution around the Sun but no rotation around its axis would mean that Earth will experience a 6-month long day, followed by a 6-month long night. Secondly, it is believed that rotation of Earth generates its magnetic field. Without rotation, there would be no magnetic field to protect us from the harmful solar winds. Also, it would mean an end to the world-famous lights called Auroras as they are formed due to the interaction between Earth's magnetic field and particles of solar wind.

Moon phase (cresent moon, full moon, etc) happens because of the fact that the moon is a spherical object that orbit the earth. It's not because something is casting a shadow on the moon. If you are referring to the moon appear during daytime, it's also because the fact that I stated above, the changing in proximity of the moon to the sun, and other things. You can either read books or do a quick google search.

Other than the 'horizon dip' which is blindingly obvious to the naked eye with nothing more than a spirit level at the seaside. FFS 18th C navigators had to correct for it when determining their latitude from sextant observations of the sun & stars ! Away from the shore they had to use a level pool of mercury instead ! Since the flat earth is surrounded by a glass dome, there is obviously so much thick air underneath it that pushes the sun and moon upwards. But this is only speculation. The Coriolis Effect is much too small of an effect on the scale of a bathroom drain to determine the direction of rotation. How level is your home, even tiny imperfections on the sink surface, have a greater influence on the direction of the draining.

This morning in Houston the Sun rose at an azimuth of 114 degrees. This is a full 24 degrees south of due East and that is NOT possible on a flat Earth.
ANY sunrise isn't possible on a flat Earth, neither is the direction of "East" or "South". In fact nothing we see, observe and experience on Earth would be possible if the Earth was flat. Unfortunately there is something fundamentally wrong with flat Earther "thinking" which prevents any understanding of reality.

No measurable curvature check mates globe earth model, however the movement of the sun seems to favor the globe model, but have in mind we'll never have full understanding of how the sun works. What you need to know is that there's a dome preventing us from leaving the planet, which proves this world is an intelligent creation of God, not a spec of dust in the universe

A plane flies straight if it’s spherical, the plane would have to dip down every time it comes across a curvature. That’s doesn’t happen therefore it’s not round it’s flat.
In wholesome context: Aryabhatta not only discovered the earth is a sphere, but also theorised that it spins on its axis and luminosity of Moon is due to Sun's reflection. Probably he forgot to tweet about it :)
How could it be proved 2000 years ago when no one had the technology to go up to space look back and verify what there mathematical equasion told them? It was an assumption 2000 years ago. Not proven. The only time it was "proven" was in 1969 when a crappy sketchy video was made by the passengers on the appollo team to show us the first full image of earth from space. Thats the first time ever it was '"proven" if you accept that shitty film as proof.
