Also the only reviewer (excluding one) that compared him to Iron Spider. Even had a photo of him with the Illuminati which not many reviewers did. I appreciate the awareness made for all the storylines and inspiration tied to this armour
No matter how many armors that Tony Stark makes, To me when he does makes them, He makes them all with so very unique features, Extremist Iron Man is definitely another badass design, Great review on this Iron Man Jason.
I really don’t like how they used inaccurate comic artwork on the box. It bothers me how the figure is from the civil war comic look for the armor, while the comic art on the box is from the actual Extremis comics, or the pentagon Iron Man suit. The pentagon look is very nostalgic and cool looking to me, so it makes me disappointed that Hasbro probably see these two armors as the same.
I sold my Extremis graphic novel a while back so it wasn't fresh in my mind. I googled pages from the comic, and the covers, and yeah there is definitely a difference.
In terms of Iron Man armors, Hasbro seems to keep knocking out the major ones out of the park. I guess all that's left in terms of older armors is Iron Patriot, Hulkbuster and Thorbuster.
I've gotten a few Legends Iron Man's but I'm definitely looking at getting this one. My Target does Marvel sales regularly so I just need to wait until these hit stores and price won't be half a point anymore.
I don't unbox so his description of the disconnect with windowless packaging exactly described my feelings at the time and why I was ready to drop Marvel Legends in 2023. It had me feeling like I was paying $25 for a flimsy box that might contain the figure I wanted and if the figure was in the box there's a real possibility it has a mountain of QC issues. It took all the fun out of seeing the figures in store or getting them in the mail.
Currently the room is in shambles, and I am saving up to renovate it. When I do, I want to make a multi part video series on the process and the new displays
Dude, you should try this figure with Tony Stark head from Atmosphere armor, I think it will look very good. That Tony Stark headsculpt really reminds me of that iconic IM #3 cover by Adi Granov.
You know the funny this is I got that figure loose for next to nothing, but it didn't have the Stark head or the Joe Fixit piece. It was cheap though so I settled
My Ultimate Cap should be arriving in June from Amazon and when I do get a chance, I will get Safari jacket Wonder Man and Yelena Belova Black Widow because they are cool characters IMO.
Yeah, I want that Wonder Man for my growing West Coast Avengers display. As for Yelena, I pretty the short blond hair/crop top look. Great character though.
@@5POAFigureReviews ok cool my bad I guess I didn’t think about the fact that you have to have the figure to do the video. I’m going to powercon in Columbus in August later this year. I just recently discovered your videos and I must say you are my favorite figure reviewer of all the ones I’ve been watching. I’m also a big fan of Josh from before and you actually introduced me to the Glenn Webb action figure evolution videos RIP anyways thanks and keep it up
What do you think about Infinite Frontier joker?Should I take him or shoud I take The clown joker from three jokers? I can't decide who would look better next to my Robert Pattinson Batman. Please help me!
Between those two, Clown. Infinite Frontier is great but too stylized for a live action display. That said, if you could get any I recommend the Criminal or MK11
Fun fact my dad came over for dinner last night after I posted and I had him bring Chinese take out, then showed him this video. He got a real kick out of if
I’ve been wanting this figure for so long. A hood extremis armor iron man. But can anyone tell me what in the actual heck is going on with this figure in BBTS? Everyone else says it’s not supposed to come out till June and BBTS has been out of stock twice?
I don't know whether to buy iron man designed by Alex Ross released last year or whether to take this version, of which I prefer the color. What do you think?
I like the design of the Alex Ross, but I prefer the color scheme of this one. The gold on the Ross is a bit too yellow for me and the red isn't very metallic. That said, if you prefer Red and Yellow Iron Man figures, that might be the better for you.
As someone whose favorite Iron Man design is Extremis, I do *not* like this figure. I don't think it captures any of the sleek, sexy, art deco/retro-futuristic inspired aesthetic of the design. It has the individual details that make up the design, but without any of the nuance or focus that brings it together. This looks like it was sculpted by someone who didn't particularly like the design and didn't understand what made it work. It's so round and bulbous looking. It looks like a flying suppository. I still have the OG Marvel Legends Extremis figure from back in the day. I'm not sure if it's late Toy Biz or early Hasbro ML, but besides some inaccurate paint on the chin and being a little on the thin side, I think it's a MUCH better figure. I would've loved to see a good update. Still waiting.
I am looking for a Tony. My retro shop has an iron heart and I might grab them tomorrow Here's hoping this helps. Tho to be honest I might get me a stealth Ironman For reasons lol
