I typically listen to the podcast while cooking something on Friday. So, first of all, thank you for being a companion for the hard fork, towards the weekend branch! Now is the first time I actually am only tuning in on a Saturday since you've started RU-vid.... Second of all, I have been deceived! Kevin made it sound like Casey was *super fidgety* all the time. And there he is, as a chill dude sipping coffee. 🤣 Third, you have three cameras and some person with flawless editing skills making this video, taking all that effort. I see you. Let alone the sound engineer. No roll-eyes off-the-mill xylophone hammering piano beating, ever. You know how darn rare that is? I hear you. Now doubling down on being a subscriber to the NYTimes (I signed up because of THIS and the Ezra Klein Show in the first place, that really pushed me over). Kudos, and thank you for being awesome (including every invisible person behind the scenes). ....I'm still gonna send Casey a fidget spinner now, as the non-fidgety state was disappointing. :P
Jonathan Haidt wrote one of my favourite books (The Righteous Mind) - his piece in the Atlantic this week about phones and childhood was fantastic. Keen for this interview!
Really enjoyed this! Glad to see you pushing back a bit on some of what Jonathan Haidt was saying, I really think he's trying to put the worms back in the can when they're already burrowed well into the earth.
Actually a pretty funny poking prank for back in the day and cool that Kevin’s mom was in on the joke. Nowadays, probably cyber bullying and sexual harassment.
Didn't realize Casey was one of us lgbtq types. That's pretty swell. Sorry, no substance in this comment, but hey...lower your expectations, I make a lot of comments.
Did you just called some Reddit users degenerate because they might belong to a particular group on Reddit… 👎🏻reporting you to the New York Times and YT.
