Hi Sneha. I saw this video long back on the same day when you posted it. And I am the kind of person who has followed your book recommendations since the day I discovered your channel on youtube. Your recommendations and views are so honest. After watching this video I was triggered enough to read "The love hypothesis" since many of my friends were already talking about it. Now I came back to your video again to listen to your views and yes, you are absolutely right about this book. Even before I could get into the story or any of its characters, it got over. Well, no bad feelings. I love your videos a lot. You put all your efforts and love into making and editing them .Keep up your good work. Lots of love.
Finally the review I was looking for, I really didn't feel that The love hypothesis is worth the hype. The story moves forward so slowly and I was just fed up of writer writing about Adam being handsome and having nice body after every two pages, whenever I was into imagining the scene, the writer wrote about how Olive would have felt about happening about that particular scene, it's like unlinking the reader from reading. and as you said, it was too obvious to predict that someone is going to fall in love at the end. I think the book gives a review about itself in second line of page 314, "This is a Hallmark movie, or a poorly written young adult novel". and I agree with you where you said they are adults, doing PhDs and probably in their early thirties, in the book, they are shown like they are 17 or 18 years old. may be if I was 18 year old, I would have loved it but this book was a big no for me. after every 20 pages I was looking for the things which were told by bookstagrammers but couldn't find one. same goes with it ends with us. waste of money

Gosh Olive's bsf got on my nerves so much 🧍♀️🧍♀️like they were acting like wattpad characters... The plot was also not that good imo.. Thank god you rant about this dumb piece of literature 🚶♀️🚶♀️
