@@futureparadise.2089You should actually get to know the society before commenting as if the whole world is a peaceful place. There are tons of millionaires that love flexing💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 let alone 100k isn’t even that much money for a net worth of someone.
I test drove this car and it was easily the nicest car I've ever been in. Absolutely amazing to drive, and it's got rear wheel steering so it turns on a dime. It is an absolutely amazing car, but the price tag is insane. The dealer was actually talking to me about just how hard it is to sell these guys because they're so expensive.
mercedes is struggling to sell electric/EQ and performance/AMG cars in general. the value proposition of the eqs is super hard to justify when the i7 exists with a nicer interior, better technology, more performance, better build quality and a lot more space. even the taycan which is significantly older than the eqs drives way better, has higher quality interior materials/fit and finish and is stunning to look at whereas the eqs looks like an egg and has shockingly bad interior quality for the pricepoint.
I had one as a loaner for 2 days when they first came out. The car was amazing! It was a nice ride, very comfortable, and the pillows were like laying your head in a cloud. I'd never chose to drive an electric car, but if I had to, it would definitely be this.
@@smar1208 Went to the MB dealer today - Base model G Wagon was approximately 190k. Back in 2010 You could get a G wagon for 110k... 80k upswing in 14 years? lol.
It's funny that mercedes throws shade at bmw but bmw doesn't need to... Shows who doesn't need to do the talking here. We all know BMW's won't be in the rear view xD But hey jokes should be treated like one nice touch haha!
“They’re nice I like seeing them through my rearview camera mirror” would’ve been even better shade as BMW doesn’t offer that feature at any price point. Lol 😂
@@tonzku. I drive a compact european car and this thing looks ugly to me as well.. Also, why do you get so offended at people's oppinions on the internet..
Terrible car, cheap crappy plasticy materials everywhere and cold bland exterior. But ohhhh! *jangles key for infant* look at the big screens and LEDs!!!!...
I don’t really see how it’s so “smooth”. It’s really just for ppl w/ low attention spans that see something new & shiny as fast as possible. Demuro tells a story, actually goes into detail. This is like like cheap knock off doug for ppl with adhd.
I love all cars petrol, diesel, electric, and hydrogen, they’re all great, but that thing is a fucking crime, except for the interior things, I like that a lot.
Lacks in looks, cabin room, frunk, trunk size, etc... and it weighs as much as a solar system, so it's still slow despite 5-18 horsepower. Just buy a Lucid Air for the same price. Much better, has a frunk that fits a whole regular-sized human, enough speed, probably weighs just as much but still handles like a sports car on a back road. Fabulous Car.
There are only two red flags that In my opinion, it needs a change. 1. A front trunk, especially for more storage, etc. 2. A more simplified door handle. Imagine in a hurry and it takes 2-3 seconds for the door handle to open. Maybe a common door handle works best.
Mercedes has never been about it being “worth it” since it’s essentially just another luxury good. It’s worth what someone’s willing to pay, and a lot of people are willing to pay for em. Not to mention most buyers are leasing it for 3 years and will never pay anything close to the full msrp.
You know what you’re right lol Mercedes and bmw are know for their engines and luxury but their not know for their durability and cost of maintenance. That’s why after 3 years you’re better off switching off that lease because by that time a new model has come out already with better tech for it to only break lol
I’ve had mostly foreign cars and I’d have to say you are right and wrong. Mercedes and Volkswagen out of Audi and BMW, I’m picking VW and Mercedes. The problem is you people can’t afford to take care of them and maintain them lol they run perfectly fine.
@@davsquaredo79 you never owned a Mercedes and it shows. They have been nothing but bulletproof. Owned various classes and models from 01-07 with some over 200k mi with regular maintenance issues.
@@DoctorTauri you had older models that were probably maintained right, German cars come with that higher price tag but if taken care of a Benz will last a while. I can’t say the same about BMWs
That handslide door handle is gonna suck if it’s really cold and there is frost on that handle. It may not register your hand sliding over it with ice stuck to it🤣
The door handles also open when you approach the car with the key fob. If the door handle gets stuck, you just push in on the left side of the handle, and it will pop out.
@@vexed_con if you can afford a 133k mercedes you won't hold on to that car for 10 years buddy ... Same goes for the rich people they'll probably buy this for their kid just to be wrecked or sold or left in the garage alongside their other 5 mercedes I'm sure you get my point by now
@@El_Goblino_ this has absolutely nothing to do with whether the current owner will keep it till then. We are simple making observations about current tech and whether or not it will be outdated in 10 years.
The AMG really takes off. As a mechanic I test drove one after inspecting it. I was told I teleported when stepping on the gas 😂 your first time in that car you will never speak of Tesla again.
…. ooooooor there are some fiddly technical bits you have no need to access, and if you want to, you can probably undo some screws and take it off. 🤷🏿♀️
