I can attest to these, they're absolutely outstanding and fun to drive. There is so much grip, brake, and acceleration that you can't help but get G-Force therapy in each ride.
I just got a 17 this summer. Absofuckinlutely love this car and will have it for the rest of my life. If you have the means to get one, buy one. Everything everyone says about them is right on the money. Worth every penny.
Been a fireman for 19 years I have never wanted another job until I saw all your video's and you getting to play with all these nice toys, especially when you showcase these GTs🙌🙌🙌
Some stuff you left out, but are great selling points are lessons learned from the 2016-18 GT350’s. This engine is a 2nd GEN Voodoo, based off of a Combination of the GT500 & GT350R. The 2019/20’s are getting the same Recast Block with reinforced cooling jackets, that the 2020 GT500’s are getting, also shared components with the GT500 are the reinforced intake valleys, stronger exhaust valve springs, it can handle 12psi of sustained boost over the GEN 1 Voodoo, longer head bolts / Head Gasket from the GT500’s Predator engine as well, due to the fact that the 350 & 500 are being built at the same time the focus being split between the 2 cars, there will only be one Signature on the head plate on them. All the Rest of the Valvetraine components are coming over from the GT350R & will be shared with both the 350 & 500. The secondary timing chains are being carried over from the R, the GEN 2 Voodoo Will also be getting I-Beam Connecting Rods for both the standard 350 & the R which the connecting rods were a weak point in the GEN 1 Voodoo’s.
I’m about to buy a 2019 GT350. Thank you so much for this honest and amazing review as alway’s.🙏🏻❤️ I’ll be posting some short’s come April or May ripping down 2nd street tunnel in downtown Los Angeles and 3rd street tunnel also. It’s going to be eargasmic epic I promise you.😃
There were a lot of great improvements to the 18/19's, but I reckon the best was the exhaust note, Gosh they sound good. Walker Ford are great for letting you and Tom bring us these awesome beasts. Keep on rolling Joe :)
Joe, you may want to let Walker Ford know they need to zip tie that dangling connector by the pedals @ 13:28. On another note, is it me or does $500 for that carbon fiber dash seem like an unbelievable deal? Great job to the whole team!
@@TqSNv9R0iG5Ckxew recently bought a 2019 out of state, I imagine after the transport fees buying it out of Iowa instead of California I saved 5-10k. Invoice vs MSRP + markup (yes most CA places still asking for markup even non-R)
Excellent review buddy. I can sense your sincere love of these cars and you have a great presentation format. I'd love to have one just like this one, great color combo and options too, just got to find 62 large.
I have exact same model in this colour in the garage, 2020 with 60 miles on it. Was planning to sell it over MSRP but now im thinking to keep for myself…such a gem 💎
@@pentiumradeon the key word is experience here. The 6 speed manual is truly magic. One would say that the Camaro and Challenger still come with manuals but the Voodoo is what really set it apart. I could go into detail but as a gt350 owner, who has driven a zl1 and challenger, the gt350 is special in an indescribable way.
" these seats hold you like a mother holding you fresh out of her womb"lol love your analogies Joe. I've been gone for a while been super busy with work but you know I'm always going to check these out. You any closer to knowing if you'll be able to make it up here this year?
Awwww yeah. Been waiting for this! I'm so glad they improved the interior. Nice stitching on the center console. The carbon fiber dash looks great. I like the new recaro's. Wow I can't believe they let you test drive it!! Great job Joe!! Going to eat dinner then come back to finish this.
@@roscodobson Thanks brother. I'm jelly about the R! I just finished Track Attack and I was literally blown away by the GT350 performance. I can't imagine the R!
My 2019 GT350 Velocity Blue / White Stripes was delivered to me in the tri -county area on April 30th. I wanted the Tech Package, Handling Package, Premium Leather Seats w/ Memory/Heated/Cooled and Carbon Fiber Dash. Very happy with the vehicle.
Man I recently paid ~$10k over msrp for a used 2020, it’s crazy how much of value these cars had new. Still kicking myself that I didn’t buy one in 2020…kicking myself while sitting in my 350, but kicking myself regardless 😂
I wish I could hit that like a thousand times, 2019 GT350 been waiting for this one since I saw you IG video and pictures. Love it, want it so bad, only complaint wish they had put digital cluster and rev match. Amazing Joe, was waiting for you to say you were going to finally take it home 😁. Epic video 👍👌, not everything is just going fast on a straight line.
@@RaitisRides please show brochure because I'm 100% sure there there is no change to the hood. Only change is the gt350 now has the gt350r inner grill.
This is why it’s so important for Chevrolet to keep the Camaro’s in production and not take them off the line just because Mustang’s out sell them. Keeping the competition going is important, good for both manufacturers as they just keep getting better. I feel the 6th gen Camaro’s really forced Ford to step it up. Still love my 2018 1LE though, handles like a dream !
Hey Joe! These Eargazims are habit forming aren't they? Even though my headphones 🤩 What a piece of mechanical genius marvel, almost makes humble behind the wheel a Joe. Great job Tom! Love the family. 🤗👍.
This car is amazing. I own an ‘18, and every single time I drive it I’m amazed I own something like this. My favorite part is at 20:33 when you think you have to shift, you hesitate, and realize you have 3-4K to go. Hahah amazing isn’t it? It’s very unique to drive If I had to do it all over again, I would. Love it!!
@@amac8487 thank you! ive been all over the place lately i just want a gt350 prices seem okay right now. but everyone tell me different things. lol. congratulations on the car!
@@igotauzi yeah man, don’t stress it too much. People are always so quick to complain. The reason you read so many horror stories are because those are the people who chime in to social media and talk about it. There are tons of GT350s out there that have never had any problems. If you go on any forum with nearly any car, you’re going to find people doing the same thing. I own a few cars, and all the groups are the same. Happy searching .. it’s a phenomenal car :)
I love cars in general no matter what brand or style are they as long they are exciting to drive. Always been more in the imports Jdm thing because how they handle and how they feel.. but I have always loved mustangs. And this car just fits me and is all I wanted from muscle car v8 engine! A powerful muscle car that has the sound, the v8, the exciment and handles like a champ! Just the perfect car! Hope to get one any time soon.
The sounds!!!! The GT500 just can't compete. The increase in numbers can't possibly make up for the sound, there's just no way. The color is absolutely beautiful.
Cold review. You're looking like kevin Durant right now. This blue is is outstanding borderline spectacular. Code name papa smurf. I would paint the calipers red
Incredible video Joe!! I'm telling you brother, you need to swap that RS for this gorgeous velocity blue GT350!! You deserve it and life is short!! C'mon Lori let Joe buy this car!! Awesome review man. Love this car!!
An SS 1LE can probably still outhandle this Mustang on the track. Ford keeps chasing Chevy Camaro with increased iterations of the Performance Pack. I am not even trying to dissuade one vs the other because I enjoy both vehicles so very much. The engine in the GT350 is pure amazing. The chassis on the Camaro SS 1LE is just spot-on bonkers good! Really tough choice. If you like revving higher into the RPM range, the GT350 is an easier choice to engage. :D
Real nice car and great presentation, Joe. I wonder, would this GT 350 be an everyday driver, or is it more for the track? With 6 speed gearbox and navigation, it seems to be more of a daily driver, that can option for the track. Would you recommend it for a daily driver? I'm assuming the GT350R is for track driving and not for everyday. Let me know what you think , if you have the time. Maybe in the future, you could do a side by side comparison of the 350 and 350R. Thanks, keep em' comin'.
Total win! If I had the $ and wanted an all out old school muscle car with all the latest styling, performance and technology bells and whistles, this would be it. And in a reasonable price range for what it has. Second would be the Camaro ZL1, which I haven't had time to watch the video yet, but will probably watch it after this comment. I feel strange being a converted Ford Fan after being a lifelong GM devotee. Despite the enjoyment of my 84 Buick GN, and my 2 Impalas, I had my share of reliability problems over the years, and very hesitant to get another GM vehicle. I think I mention whi h ones would be considerations. But this car is almost perfect and flawless. The color, high output normally aspirated engine with bullet proof internals, slick manual shifter which I would opt for over the DzcT, even if I prefer an automatic, big brakes and tires, awesome engine and exhaust tone, Recaro seats, carbon fiber trim, and all the other details. Everything is pretty much everything I would want, even for a daily driver, except for 4 doors and better mileage, but it would probably an often driver, but I could have a much more affordable and economical daily driver with decent cargo space if I had this to please me performance cravings. You pretty much mentioned everything I could think of that is good about it. I don't remember hearing any zonks. I would add my usual like any new car, black metal license plate frames with clear covers, wheel locks, weather mats and such, legal smoke ceramic tinting windows, and minnow customization accessories, and necessities, such as tools, first aid kit, fire extinguishers and other gear. The only thing I wish it really had is a CD player, but if it has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and USB/an auxiliary audio input jack, I could pur my music on USB flash drives, or a portable digital recorder, etc. Synthetic oil, and quality detailing products and such. The only other thing is, I would want another set of the original wheels, and put more practical high performance strret tires on it, and store the original set and tires, unless I would take it on road courses and stuff and use it only for that. Great video. Must find ways to raise funds to get this. I almost forgot to mention that I don't know what else the R version and GT500 have other than the carbon fiber rear spoiler and DCT, but I know I would be totally happy with this as is, mentioned above. Awesome work on this video, as always.
The nip and tuck up front for better air flow makes the front area look like it has fake venting. The wheels on this GT350 look better than the painted carbon fiber wheels on the GT350R. The velocity blue looks great but I would’ve gone with white stripes.
Nice video Joe, it's a shame that Ford hasn't released the 350, 350R with a Gen 6 Whipple The GT350, 350R platform lack horse power off of the production line. I'm just wondering if Ford has addressed the main bearing failures, oil filter housing issues.
Well done !!!!!!! ..... GREAT videos. I now have a 2018 GT350 (diamond white / kona blue stripes) your videos have been a great inspiration for me to get my " Bucket List " car !!!!! ...... Keep up the SUPERB videos !!!!! ... MANY THANKS !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for detail on the aluminum rotor hats. THAT is interesting to say the least. Never heard of the Gurney strip, only the Gurney Bubble as to the roof on the Ford GT. Joe, how did the name Voodoo come about for the engine? Strange how the Mustang and Vette are sometimes intertwined. The wheels on this Mustang are reminiscent of the C6 ZO6 Spider wheels. "Velocity" Blue? The Vette has "Velocity" yellow. lol What's with the use of the adjective "velocity?" :-) Save the Wave.
Joe I’ve been trying to get you featured on an automotive news channel called life of Palos, it will help you grow the channel and I will keep suggesting it until you get featured. Love this channel and you are a great dude , would love to chat with you in real life man.
Its a good time to get a good deal one of these imho. The combination of the gt 500 and the C8 coming out will drop demand down. Dealer mark ups should be negated due to this.
Sweet ride I like the high revving engines it's just my thing and I've gone back to my original idea of building the ultimate fox body mustang by putting a 6.8L Triton v10 in it I'm going to be learning mechanic's from my step dad I can't wait to make a monster the 35 tailed nightmare fox will live one day I would love to showcase it on raitis rides
I had the option to buy a 2017 GT 350 at a local dealer here in toms River New Jersey as soon as I sat in it I shot out of it like a cannon telling the dealer no way I was comfortable with those awful Ricarro seats! If they’ve changed them that’s a good thing because they were awful! At that time I bought a Roush stage 3 instead . I didn’t keep that very long either LOL didn’t like the stick shift and it traded it on a 2018 mustang GT premium performance pack one and I don’t keep that very long either LOL!
