Is the new 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali the 3/4 ton truck LEADER? 

One thing I learned from Raiti's Rides is that the reviews are always TASTEFUL and never a ZONK!

Love my 2020 2500hd Denali. The rearview mirror also turns to video mode out the back. There is also an optional safe in the console. Another plus is the def fill is next to the fuel filler. Also the phone charger in the console.

What you don’t realize is GM buyers love the dash layout (simplicity, ease of use, etc). Reviewers are the only people that want them to change it.

My work truck is the new 2019 Silverado custom and I'm jealous of all the luxuries that Denali has. It makes cost as much as a house but those duramax motors will last forever.

I've owned 5 different half ton trucks. Got this same truck but in silver back in January. My first Diesel. I cant even explain how awesome it is. The power is unreal, it seems like it never ends. The interior could be a little nicer for the price, but I like the way its laid out and the materials are durable which is the most important to me. I just paid it off last week, it hurt a little but you know what they say, "Buy Once Cry Once"!

Never owned a Silverado but GMC I have and loved them till I fell in love with the F-series trucks thumbs up brother..

Hello Joe, interesting video. This big heavy big car is so amanzing and powerful. I just have watched a video of Silverado 30 minutes ago , really both are great heavy pickup trucks almost similar. But i loved some good ideas like details inside the car, at second row sit. And the tail door Very interesting using it like stairs and hand support also. Awesome. I saw this feature in a big Ford Raptor. But this New model Sierra is better, I loved it. Very Good Job Joe. Thanks.

Joe i just watched your video on both Ford 250 2020 and GMC, 2500 HD 2020.I noticed Ford had a huge Air dam at the front of the truck and the GMC did not,can you tell me why

I think i'd wait a year or two to get more durability info on the now Allison "Branded" transmission. To see if it any different then a real allison we've seen for years.

Great video and the camera shots too! Just couple things I would like to point out. 6:24 in to the video you referred the engine as a Ford-Duramax...why? The 6.6-liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. The only Ford in the 2020 GM trucks is the (GM & Ford collaboration) 10 speed transmission in the 1/2 ton trucks. Also the 10 speed in the HD are GM made with a "Allison" branding. Are y'all planning on a video for the GMC Denali HD headlights? Since y'all overloaded on how good they are and on how much light it produces.

Just ordered a 2022 3500HD Denali. Splurging for my midlife crisis. I am still driving my 2006 2500HD that I bought new at Dick Norris and still have it planning on keeping it and having both. Although Dick Norris is now Tasca, I still bought it from my buddy John Bruno there. Great guy and we have purchased 3 Yukons and 3 trucks from him. Joe, the 2500 HD is NOT a one ton truck. It’s a 3/4 ton truck. The one ton is the 3500.

I have 2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn im debating rather i should trade it in for 2020 GMC Denali 2500hd but I love the interior on Longhorn the Denali is average at best

Every single piece of that infotainment system is brand new. Down to the buttons and knobs. May look similar but all new.

As usual GMC is getting rid of the CD player and fold away running boards. For $76,000 I don’t think so. Good review 👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve worked on way too many Power Stroke 6.7 and Duramax 6.6 and both have just as many issues as the other, you just need to pick the problems you want to deal with. Cummins is the only reliable pickup diesel but it’s bolted to that junk FCA truck.

Don’t buy the new 2020 gmc or Chevy diesel if you snow Plow. I bought a 3500 denali with snow Plow prep. The first time plowing I get a check engine light apparently the slow Plow blocks so air flow sensor and turns on the light which puts it in a limp mode which enables possibly the lower but also the remote starter. So now I have a diesel in winter I can’t remote start. Also I had to take off the tailgate to put in a salter. GM doesn’t have any plugs like the used to to block off the power tailgate wires and the back up camera wires. So I had to tape them so they don’t corrode with the salt here. The big kicker is because I unplugged these which is common on a Plow truck the entire camera system now doesn’t work. These are 2 things I bought the Denali for. Gm can’t and won’t fix either issue and I have a fleet of trucks from Gm. Looks like I’ll have to go to ford. Also the 2020 Allison transmission isn’t an Allison. False advertising

This is not a fully loaded Denali. I have this exact truck. The tech is completely different. I have 19 cameras, full time video rearview, and the towing package along with with the auto towing mirrors and towing cameras is a standout. My rear seats are heated and cooled.

No, not even close. The interior doesn’t stack up to Ram and even Ford has better bits and that’s the 2019 and I’m a Chevy fan. It looks good finally and better than Fords boxy refrigerator design though.
