We need to appreciate the fact that Joe actually fills us in on some background information before, during and after the review about the cars history and other details 👍🏽 Thanks Joe
@@armoredgaming2352 from every angle except for the front. If it had a front end similar to the G20 3 Series, it would look perfect. And that's coming from an Audi/Porsche fan.
@@armoredgaming2352 I guess you've never owned one or would consider upgrading to it? For a BMW, it's a bad design all over. It has lost all its M3 traits and has poor detail, just for the sake of being different. Look at the RU-vid review by Frank Stephenson - he's a professional designer, ex BMW and Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren (he did the P1) etc.
I was watching a review on this exact car and i was 1:09 into it and i got the notification that you posted the same exact car, color and all and switched immediately! Great review, beautiful car!
I don’t even care if i get bashed out, but maannn! This redesign is so worth it. It actually shows what the “M” actually stands for, in their entire lineup. And that’s what BMW Did such an remarkable job on. They straight up nailed it.
What I have noticed driving my X3M Comp is the very smooth torque and power delivery across the RPM range. It makes it feel slower then your actually going. I have to look down at my speedo every half second as its hard to actually feel how fast your accelerating. Don't get me wrong, the car hauls and pulls but it's not on and off switch torque and power. Other turbo cars I have owned had a on and off turbo power band where it hits at a certain range and then dies off. That makes it feel faster at certain points which fools you. BMW has mastered the lack of turbo lag and run off with super smooth power delivery. This engine is capable of over 700HP on stock internals and we are just getting started. Great review as always and love the new grill!
This is probably the best M3/M4 yet. The only color I would get it in is black though. I would pass on the carbon seats also. I actually like the shape of the M3 sedan over the M4.
It’s nice when you live in a state that doesn’t require a front plate. It’s a nice clean look without one. For what it’s worth, I don’t like the blue calibers with that green color.
Dropped my 2019 F82 in yesterday to collect this exact same car let me tell you its on a whole new level I thought the stock F82 was fast this is warp factor 9 Scotty ,it sounds like my old V8 M3 everything is way better no one ever complimented the F82, already I've had so many admirers one guy even followed me into the car park to chat , this is the best car right now sub 100k enjoy its that amazing it moves your SOUL
I like the larger grill design! Looks good. Overall exterior is styled well. Im not sure from a distance, but the fit/finish looked pretty tight as well. As always Lori...Joe, nice job.
Under the hood: I have no doubt that Dinan will come to the rescue with carbon fiber strut braces, and EVenturi will make carbon air intakes. It'll all clean up nicely !
You know what's crazy? That grille looks okay in that green color and black looks pretty nice as well. However, I still would change the front bumper once some after market options become available. Additionally, what I also find fascinating is that the M4 has grown so much that its the length of the of the E63 generation M6 that has the V10. Amazing how large this vehicle has grown. 2003 E46 M3 is also a foot shorter thant this M4...
When you get around to looking at a manual version of the m3 or 4 take close attention to what's missing because I noticed the automatic's leaves all the room for the push to start, iDrive, and other things that the manual removes. Hopefully they put it somewhere else, the important ones anyway.
The xDrive M3/M4 will only come with the Competition models. You will not be able to get xDrive with the manual transmission versions. That’s what someone told me, but I wanna get into contact with BMW about this.
I'm not a fan of the exterior styling, however, the interior is a big improvement over the previous generation. Also an improvement is the sound. The previous gen was excessively popping and sounded like the car was broken. Although the popping is still there, it has been minimized and is no longer embarrassing. Once aftermarket exhausts come out, we shall see if it becomes an issue again.
Ah, keep them coming, these European sedans, especially, from the Germans, are gorgeous, and the M4 is no exception. Ich liebe Deutschland!!! ON THROTTLE!!!
I been love the grill when it first came out in 2021, i love the green it stands out pretty good i wonder if they gonna make it electric in the future.
Hopefully the exhaust flaps were closed on the Rev clip Joe because that sounded more like a Honda Civic. 👍 Customer: Is this the one Joe Raiti reviewed? Sales rep: Yes. Customer: I'll pass, I want one I can break in properly. 😂
Great review. And great approach. There are many on RU-vid that it seems to be their mission to convince people that we should hate this car. If anyone buys or passes on a car, based on a RU-vid personality, they’re a fool. I don’t hate this car...I do like the sedan better. I love this color.
Hi Zonkman love the BMW M4 but I know everybody wants to hear everything to be positive in the car but, if you are expecting to be perfect you're going to ride a bike because a car will never be perfect out of the box. Thanks Lori for the great shot son the video!
I don't know why but it feels like BMW has cut corners at places to reduce the price and still failed to do so. If I've got $83,000, I might as well go for 2020 Shelby GT500, It's got 12 inches of digital display, it's got 4 seats with 2 doors. Not going for the optional Sparco seats will also get me heated AND VENTILATED seats and shitload of horsepower. I personally feel it's a much better deal. Would love to know your thoughts Joe.
Agree, 911 is better but, in Aus the M4 comp optioned up is AUD $190,000 drive away, the 911 S is $350,000 on the road. Our taxes on luxury, expensive cars is BS but that’s how it is. So, I’d look at the M4 which would be better than an equivalent priced secondhand 911
