Is the 2020 BMW M8 Competition a BETTER sports car than a Porsche 911? 

I leased a 2020 BMW M8 Comp last month. I enjoy every bit of the driving experience with this car so far. Performance ☑️ Good looking ☑️ Fabulous Sound ☑️ You really can’t ask for more. And the best thing is the driving modes it has are so different. You basically get three cars with within one ultimate machine !

👍 $169k wow!!! But it actually looks worth the price. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds!!! Beautiful color on the exterior of this car. The rims are awesome. The golden 6 point calipers look out of this world. Rocket ship Raiti you were having way too much fun. 😀👍 I’ll take this vehicle over a manual porche 911 because I don’t possess the necessary skill set to drive a manual transmission. Imagine, if they offered that in Manual. I remember I was a young boy when my dad bought a canary yellow 2002 tii with manual. That car was unbelievable.

Very nice review. Picked one up last week, my seventh M car and so far the most engaging since my e60 M5. In between an e92 M3 LRP, f82 M4, F80 M3, and a G82 M4. His obversations are spot on. My previous M3s and M4s were agile and quick. The M8 is planted and fast. I'm old so a GT is meets my needs.

I had a 1991 bmw 850i in 2009 had it for a few years always had cooling issues with that car went to the dealer multiple times for recalls for The radiators sold at six years later for 19,500 with 45,000 miles on it also it was a six speed fun little car when working

My mother in law got this M8 competition in the convertible. It’s a fucking speed boat on the street! 😂 For that much money I would’ve thought it would be a hardtop convertible, but I can see why the went with the rag top. The are so heavy as is.

I’ve never seen a nicer “under the hood” than this M8 in a long while. Everything is so snug and well placed and feels like I’m looking inside a Transformer.

Joe, you’ve been getting your hands on these beautiful pieces of machinery, you have to do a 991.2 GT3 manual, it’s like heaven, I’d know because my uncle has one currently and its a heaven send, I’ve got to drive it and omg I hope you get to too

It would be really difficult to choose between this awesome BMW & the Porsche. I would probably lean more for the BMW for the zonk that you pointed out with the size. Got a question for you Joe, how do you keep the weight down eating all of those twinkies? Please share the secret because I can't even look at them on the check out stand without gaining a couple of pounds lol. Like the video keep them coming.

Check it out and im still waiting for the 718 Cayman GTS . My 1st time at Daytona, i thought Road Atlanta was a amazing race track. WOW !

Reading through the comments I’m surprised nobody said this m8 looks like the 2015 mustang gt, the (S550 body chassis).

Great Car, No Doubt, with a very rich history, and racing heritage, but for some dumb reason, BMW's, are not for Me. Nice subliminal touch on the left front wheel description! Needs more of a competition rear spoiler. GT-R type look, same with a more prominent front splitter. Cup Holder, Power point area, looks cramped... Steering wheel should be flat bottomed, IMO. What are the red buttons on the steering wheel for? Specialty buttons? There were some subliminal Zonks! Fold down seats? If there's a rear seat, why didn't you get back there? 😁 Great detailed review, on this one, Joe! I'd fit better in the BMW, than the Porsche, though. That was sure a longer than normal test drive!

I never sat in one to know if this sticker price is worth it. But, it has the same engine and power as a M5 competition with a sticker price of over 40k less, with more practicality. I really want to know why BMW is so subtle with their M cars and their exhausts. Makes me look at AMG over M cars.
