Porsche has decided to up the level of performance in the Cayman for GT4 for 2021. On the outside the GT4 brings unique bodywork that is race track developed, sport exhaust, forged wheels, and massive brakes. On the inside you will be treated to tons of Alcantara, leather and a race car inspired steering wheel. Under the engine cover is a 4.0L flat-6 that pumps out 414HP & is mated with your a 7-speed PDK gearbox. Is the NEW 2021 Porsche Cayman GT4 PDK a BETTER sports car than a 911?

@@RaitisRides absolutely yes the Cayman is way way better than the 911 in terms of styling because I love the Cayman better than the 911 and I also love the Panamera the Cayenne the Macan and the brand new Taycan here is a fun fact everyone should know that Porsches was my first favorite car when I was in preschool man I loved Porsche it was because I used to live by a Porsche dealership in Beachwood Ohio and I love and remember that dealership ever since and I will be working there to drive Porsches or other cars in the service bay and absolutely yes the Cayman GT4 outperforms the 911 in my opinion

Awesome review of my favourite Porsche automobile they offer in their vehicle lineup. The Cayman GT4 is literal perfection from Porsche that is in line with the Porsche heritage on the track. Naw not surprised it replaced a legend the yellow bird or RS . This is second to the 911 Turbo but over the naturally aspirated C4S! Great bargain and car!

If you want the slower GT4, become a Shift Monkey at No Extra Cost. Manual Monkeys see PDK savings as simply more options.

Hey Joe awesome video!!! Love the GT4!!! I have had 17 Porsches, my last two were 911 with PDK tranny. I am ordering a SPYDER and will be getting the PDK so my wife can drive it too. Here in Washington DC the traffic is constantly hideous so she stresses when driving a manual so I cave on the manual for the PDK so I don’t receive marital conflict as I get multiple cars. My daily is a 911 Turbo S. Was waiting for the ZO6 but the SPYDER has won out over the C8. I like the green color but my Porsches are either red or yellow or silver. Keep on doing amazing reviews!!!!

Joe, you have earned a sub. Been watching for awhile but haven't subbed until now. I just bought a Hellcat Redeye and it's influenced me to educate myself on other cars, and you're the guy who helps me out in that category! That Porsche feel is something you can never duplicate. The NA response time with the motor and the handling make it a more visceral experience than driving say a hellcat. Porsche keeps driver and the center of their focus and it shows. You see this thing in the rear view mirror and you might as well move over lol

I drove the European Porsche Boxter 718s with the 2.5 turbo engine and 360hp (not tuned) and that was a quick and better ride then the 911. Awesome video, great conclusion, love the positive energy, keep going 💪🏻💯🏆

I wish they updated the manual for shorter gears ...the gears are way too long you can go to 80mph in 2nd gear that's no fun ,I want to go though multiple gears before getting arrested 😂

I’ve read the manual is geared to high for street fun. The PDK is the proper choice. The sounds are amazing just awesome. The looks are not my thing in green. Maybe black would help. Thanks for the fun drive and sounds.

@@kevstr432 yea the Turbo S is my dream car also. I have a 2018 Stinger GT2. A coworker of mine paid $1200 to do the Porsche driving experience. He got to drive a 911 Turbo S and a Pdk GT3 on the track for 2 hours. He said it’s worth every penny and has already signed up to do another.

love this car, only option i would add is the 6 speed manual, and the carbon fiber bucket seats, i could do without the special stitching... but i like to row my own gears, and the bucket seats would work better with a 6 point harness for the track.

I love the GT4, but my preference is the more understated design of the GTS. Same amazing 4.0 with a little more road compliance. Make mine a manual please. Congrats on the 500K. 🙌 Full steam ahead to a million.

Great review Joe! The passion for this passion for this car really came through. You got me really excited about mine that I am scheduled to take delivery of on 6/3. Mine is PDK in Gentian Blue with Gold Wheels and Carbon ceramics. Question, how does the feel of this car compare to the GT350R? I know that they are very different layouts but both are super sharp but usable NA cars? I am going to be a very blessed owner of both but would love to know you opinion too. Thanks!

@@fxbrianh great car! 8K miles on it now. Took it to the track once and to the mountains twice. Handling and steering are amazing! Could use more power and slightly shorter gear ratios. I am very lucky to have an allocation for a GT4RS - that can should be basically perfect with 500HP, 991.2 GT3RS gearbox and that epic noise.
