I'm checking out if the new anti-cheat system in Battlefield 5 has made a difference, since the game has been infested by cheaters for a long time now. The new anti-cheat was extended to BF5 on April 3, but something went wrong and cheaters have been able to bypass the system. Let's talk about that today!
Yes, I hope it will work 100% soon. They need to fix that "loophole" that cheaters has been using after April 3rd, then hopefully it'll be much more effective.
great video splish, I hope DICE can solve the issue of the files although personally I have noticed a notable reduction in cheaters, of course they still exist but I would say right now it is, along with 2042, the safest experiences in the franchise.

Just played couple of hours ago and nah they are still present even those who are known to be cheaters in past year are still their on top rocking 200 kills in a round shooting through rocks and walls, headshooting everyone at past 200 meters.
Thanks for your comment! I was afraid that's the case. I hope though that there's less cheaters overall than before. That's at least the impression I got when I did another BF5 video not to long ago. Also depends on what servers you play.
All they need to do is give us more control like we had in BF4 for instance... we had our own servers and there were other ways to kick players from the game if they were cheating. Every now and then I can get a community server to populate but they make it almost impossible to get one listed. It's easy to fix this, they just won't do it.
Wow, really? Because they did say that they would activate the "new" EA anti cheat on April 3rd in BF5. But when they did, cheaters found a way to bypass it (changing or removing a game file, somewhat..). So the question is if they've taken it down for now, or if it was never implemented in the game on April 3rd at all..? Weird stuff anyway. I hope they fix this asap.
@@40splishsplash EA have said themselves that it was never actived. And by the way, you could remove the anti-cheat just by deleting it. As simple as that.
@@Meskwaki Where did you find this information? I'm asking since the EA anti cheat was installed when I re-installed BFV again when recording this video. (The previous anti cheat in BF5 was called Fairfight).
Thats not true at all the anti cheat is activated. The only reason why bfv even got an anti cheat is because a cheat resseller named kaya made fun of ea in a forum called unknown cheats. A single dice employe then integrated the anti cheat. 5 days later and a cheat maker named shinku already fully bypassed the anti cheat. Luckly shinku cheaters are only a small percentage.
@@40splishsplash theres plenty of speed hackers in asia server and they could end the game so fast. i once joined a conquest lobby and we had 1 speed hacker in our team and 1 in the enemy and they surprisingly balanced the game😂😂
Yes, I've never understood the fun in doing that either. I want to feel "rewarded" when doing well or playing well. That's not the case if you're cheating.
@@40splishsplash I use cheat because it's fun. For the record, I'm high level player. Planes etc. I'm really good but sometimes I take a break. It takes a week to get back to that level. I don' have much that time so I use cheat. I would be that good anyway or even better if I kept playing relentlessly. Not blatant hacks of course.
@@supernotnatural Well, at least you're honest about it. But please realize that you're hurting the experience for other players when you're cheating. I personally believe it's a very selfish thing to do. Gaming foremost is about having fun. Which means that we shouldn't feel pressure when it comes to getting a lot of kills and or/and end up top three players all the time. Especially not in a casual shooter. You say that you're a good player; stick to that. You don't need those cheats, bro.
@@40splishsplash I don't play 8hours/a day anyway besides some vacation days. That's all. But you are right on point cheating 7/24. There is no point to that. If you got that time, you can get good anyway.
Just did few matches - on one server, someone made tanks bump like there were no gravity - next match, someone casually 2 shots with the snip perfectly from across the map. - next match, de-spawned and re-spawned entire team and ennemy team. After that there are other options some people may not consider cheating but I do not accept, like an "auto-clicker" mouse? When you you left click, the mouse would just click automatically at very high rate. making non automatic weapons way to effective... don't know if that makes sense? anyway, yeah this game is dead to me.
oh yeah, and do not forget the chinese scum joining a server a spectator to spam shit. Certainly an add for hacks. Spamming like 15 messages per second during the entire match. Cannot communicate with players. Cannot report because it's a spectator...
Thanks for your comment! There are indeed quite a few people (you included), that are experiencing and reporting these things. Meaning that there seems to be quite a few cheaters still running around and destroying the experience for other players in BF5.
Yes, that's how kernel based anti-cheats works. The problem initially was though that some cheaters managed to "bypass" the new EA Anti Cheat even so...I hope it reaches it's full potential soon :)
@@40splishsplash Soon is getting too late. Last few days all lobby's i tried were the same as before April, total fully cheater invested. With all the long term usual suspects back online again. I guess it's fully working now. I am finally able to enjoy the game now unlike before. The chat is also usable because there's no cheater around to auto spam in the chat box
I tried to install two mods for BFV. Nothing like aimbot, very low quality, icons above enemy, wallhack, etc. I just wanted to Play with flags mod and icons for a nations in BF1 style. I tried to launch the game but error appeared, nothing more. Removed mods and still the same. Reinstalled 4 times BFV and it didn't worked. Reinstalled EA app and the same situation. And now I think this new anticheat detected mods as "cheats" and I got ban. Idk what happen. Someone know what happen?
Happened to be on 2042 I had to refund the game. It’s cause EA anti cheat is dog shyt 🎉 I’d rather have no anti cheat then not be able to play a game I spent $40+ on….
I hv notice this cheaters still there... kind of cheaters : see trough wall n shoot throgh wall, walking run very fast looklike jumping per frame... headshot (sniping) from long distance use machine gun

De new anticheat really did his work for a few months. I play every day and it was really so much better to play...But now they are coming back...sadly
Sorry to hear that...I really hope for the sake of BF5 that this cheating "loophole" will be closed down completely soon, since the kernel anti-cheat is supposed to be good (when it works 100%).
Thanks for watching! I did a newer BF5 recently and it seems as if the cheating problem has become better. Seems to be lees cheaters on community servers.
Thanks for asking, cool that you've noticed that! It was two reasons why I stopped doing widescreen videos. One of the reasons is that RU-vid never started to support end cards in that format, and even up to this day, they haven't added that(!). The second reason is because my rig changed, since my 2080ti graphics card broke :)
@@40splishsplash This fixed it for me: In search bar go to exploit protection settings. Then go to programme settings tab > add program to customise > choose exact file path. Find your bfv.exe file. Then scroll down to "Control flow guard (CFG)", override system settings and ensure the slider is off. Apply and run game hope it helps.

Not good at all...That is about the same thing that I experienced when I was recording this video. So it seems unfortunately that the cheaters are still around, and are able to "bypass" the anti-cheat somehow.
is it me that is noob or is everyone else getting better and better ? i already came across some cheaters but lately all i play against are killing machines like they hit hit hit hit and never miss never
I believe that it might be a mix of things, when it comes to what you're describing. But I've seen a tendency for some time, where a lot of players are playing quite "serious", if you will, even though it's only a casual shooter. With that said, it might also be so that the amount of good players per definition, has increased over the years.
NO its the same same for oceania and south east Asia (less of a player base so more cheaters per game). So many cheaters across all games partially those with easy anti cheat. I have played all the fps titles and all have cheaters in them. Struggled to to make it to masters in apex. Even helldivers a PVE game has a large amount of cheaters. BF5 after anticheat still has lots of aimboting speed hackers. but hey I give up privacy and security and cheaters still cheat just a big data collecting service is how I see anti cheat these days and what better excuse than oh we need access to you entire local network and all devices to stop cheaters.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, sharing your personal experiences also in other shooters. It's important to talk about this, and "highlight" the problem, although it is kind of depressive(!) at the same time. I guess cheaters will always be around, I guess it's more about making it as hard as possible to cheat in videogames.
I honestly haven't played BF5 since I made this video, so I can't really tell. I saw a comment though from one guy recently saying that it was still problems with cheaters.
Still full of cheaters, your only hopes of not running into cheaters is joining the BoB servers and praying an admin is online, it's a complete fuck fest
@@40splishsplash Yep, playing on official dice servers is pretty much impossible, and its not just aimbot and that stuff, these dudes can wipe entire squads with commands somehow. But you most likely won’t encounter rage cheaters on BoB servers, and even if you do you can just hop on discord and send proof to admins and they’ll ban them. But it’s still pretty sad
@@40splishsplash Still not working. Caught one before on my team. Running aimbot, in fact I have reported them a few times before couple of weeks ago and they are still playing.
I cannot play bf 5 after this update and I think it needs static ip and I have dynamic ip that keeps changing and when I want to enter the game the EA. application disconnects my PC from the internet and tells me that an access change has been made
