The Kenda 262 was fine for me on the Sherman Max, but i discovered that turning while leaning was a fat "nope!" and moved on to the Shinko 244. Ive found the Shinko 244 to be the noisiest tire. The low frequency go far (especially at speed) and i had people turning their heads wondering who was riding a motorcycle on the bike path about 50m out and it become worse as the tire wear out 😅 (also need to push harder to carve). Still, outside of it having a tendency to so long turn, which almost led me crash into a car coming from the opposite direction, i loved the darn thing, but i wanted to get rid of the noise. Sound wise, where the Kenda is a bee, the shinko was a angry bumblebee on meth 😂. I'm currently testing the Heidenau K66 80/90/14 as a "do it all tire". Its a bit weird, because at low speed it kinda act as a knobby when you turn, but at speed it behave like a street tire. I'm still learning how to best ride it, but its very promising (the quietest tire ive had so far as well), ive yet to do serious offroading with it, but i had to go up and down a few steep gravel bike paths and i have NO complaints about grip. By the way, another known tire that a lot of offroad guys love is the Shinko 241.

I agree for the noise with the Shinko 244, the solution is to keep the pressure a little bit higher so that less of the knobs are contacting the pavement so less noise, thank you for the very detailled review :D

Thanks for the video! And thanks for this comment :) I'm curious about the 241! Can anyone please share some more characteristics of that tire, especially higher speed turning, counter a road tire like michelline.. I live in sweden, winter is comming, i don't ride more than 10% offroad, i need a street tire with buffer for winter(enough is good enough) i like to carve casually at semi low speeds & would also like to be able to do hardcore leans in highspeed turns eventually! Currently using the stock tire and it's squareness is not something i'm having an easy time getting over given what kind of riding i like.. any thoughts on the 241 is much apprechiated! And/or recommendations for other tires! (I like the sound of the 241!)

Hi! Did h66 work well? Do you still use it? How does it perform in the offroad? The 80/90 fit easily or should I consider the 80/80? Thx for your answer!

As a sherman s user, I find it very curious when you said that the kenda 262 is not good for speeds over 30 kmh... as I have reached +60 kmh without too much effort... I can also do U turns on the width of the bike path with no problems either... and I particularly like the high pitch road noise that the tire makes I even think it sounds aggressively good starting from 40 kmh and the faster you go the more aggresive it sounds similar to an engine revving... but I understand that it is a matter of preference from each person... anyway thanks for the video and doing the comparison 💪

I only said that it was very noisy at speeds, the tire itself will ride just fine at high speed, i really like to have a silent ride and avoid getting unnecessary attention

@@MathieuTechMoto I precisely like the noise so pedestrians/bicycles, etc. know they have someone behind closing... I dislike having to carry a bell just to warn people XD

@@jimmykiang4420 Yeah i understand, we can't have all the same prefences otherwise this would be so boring, you have a point but even the Shinko its surprisingly quiet people doesn't give me attention until they see my Super high viz clothes lol I was riding with a friend that has a Kenda stock tire and thats true that people were reacting a lot more to the sound, have a great ride !

I feel like tires dont really matter its mostly about the rider and how he works with the EUC and adapts the riding techniques

I share your opinion, tire will mostly affects comfort and tight turning, for the rest you could ride any tire and it would be fine

how is acceleration kenda vs shinko....shinko is a bit heavier so it feels hard to accelerate and also at high speeds?
@MathieuTechMoto

Now with the PowerKnobz it accelerate very fast whatever the tire

I just switched to Shinko 244, but I noticed that my fender is rubbing against the tire a little, have you ever got that? I think the Shinko 244 is a little larger than the stock.
@MathieuTechMoto
@MathieuTechMoto 6 месяцев назад
No, mine does not rub ! But maybe you will have to cut the corners of the side threads

@@MathieuTechMoto Was your's tubed or tubeless? For mine, I installed a tubeless valve and made it tubeless. I'm suspecting that may have caused the shape to be slightly different.

With shinko 244 - rider has a higher position of the mudcover. How that been done? I'm using shinko and have an issue with rubbing. Please, share information how to rise the mudcover, thanks
@MathieuTechMoto
@MathieuTechMoto 3 месяца назад
@@JaroslavUlianov That was a broken fender holding with tie wraps, when i installed the new Shinko 244 with new fender, i did a little burnout on the side threads of the tire to eliminate slight rubbing
