this film remains a masterpiece, every single frame of it is brilliant.

If you want to know why they consider this movie the best of the decade starts at 12:00 Loneliness is becoming a more common American problem and Mark Zukerberg's character is an isolated college guy who can't connect with his college peers. Is this not the narrative of Millennials and Generation Z? This movie identifies the large problem of the 2010 decade: people becoming more socially awkward because of so much screen time. We are in an "Alone together" situation we don't know how to get out of.

Here’s my list of the best movies of the decade. I would love to hear what you guys think! 1. Blade Runner 2049 (2017) - 2049 is a masterpiece in film and art. It’s deliberate in every way from music, pace, casting, and visuals. It’s not everyone's’ cup of tea, but that’s what makes it stand above the rest. It isn’t trying to please everyone...it’s only trying to be a great film. 2. The Social Network (2010) - You guys did a pretty good job of covering why it should be one of the best films of the decade. It is the only film I’ve bought a physical copy of in the past 9 years. I would like to mention Her (2013). I don’t think it deserves a spot in the top 10 but I think it’s another film that people will look back on differently as AI becomes more prevalent in everyday life. 3. John Wick (2014) - It’s like fine wine. It gets better as time goes by. It’s the Baba Yaga of films. 4. Inside Out (2015) - I think almost anyone can relate to this movie. It was huge, it’s beautiful, it has a great cast, and it has real emotional impact. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was replaced by Frozen (2013) though. 5. Interstellar (2014) - This was the hardest for me. I like Gravity (2014), the Martian (2015), and Dunkirk (2017). But none of them had same mainstream impact that Interstellar did. There were references in other movies, The Simpsons, South Park, and more. I think it would be more appropriate to replace Interstellar with Christopher Nolan because he really knocked it out of the park this decade. 6. Black Swan (2010) - If I could The Wrestler (2008) would take this spot, but it was two years too early. The Wrestler started it all but Black Swan did it best compared to Whiplash (2014) and Birdman (2014). 7. Creed (2015) - The seamless long fight scene has probably had the biggest impact on this decades filmmakers. I’ve seen it reproduce countless of times now, but no one did it as good. The RU-vid video has over 3 million views. It’s also the breakout for Michael B. Jordan and a return to glory for Rocky. 8. The Theory of Everything (2014) - Actually scratch that! Number 8 belongs to Johann Johannsson who also scored Sicario (2015) and Arrival (2016) Edit: RIP Johann 9. La La Land (2016) - When was the last time everyone like a musical?! I was thinking about placing The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and Gone Girl (2014) here but I wasn’t feeling it. They’re just not as decade defining. 10. Avengers: Infinity War (2018) - This has to be on any list regarding the best films of the decade. Not because of the quality but because of the effort and build up that went into this movie. It was also the first Marvel movie in which the villain was the main character. [Personally I would replace this with Coco which I saw about 4-5 times in theater but I don’t think other people have as big of an emotional connection]. Other HRs: Scott Pilgrim vs The World (2010), End of Watch (2012), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Fury (2014)

Its a great movie, but the ringer really overhypes it honestly. If the exact same movie made in the exact same way didnt have fincher or sorkins name attached to it it would just be considered a good movie but definitely not the best of the decade. The movie is made masterfully, but the topic of the movie (imo) is just not super interesting and is mostly made up and not what happened.
