Since when A7 IV shares the same sensor with A1? A1 is 50 megapixels camera, and that camera is in a complete different league. Also, $9000 usd? Cause if yes then this is not even close.
@@StefanoLombardoYT No, the Sony A1 and the Sony A7 IV do not have the same processor. The Sony A1 uses a dual Bionz XR image processor, which is the same as the one in the Sony A9 II1. The dual processor in the A1 allows it to achieve faster performance and higher resolution than the A7 IV. :) You don't need to apologize.

Hi, I use two SD Cards for my Sony A7iv. If I want to review my photos and videos on my camera, how do I switch from SD card 1 to SD card 2? I use SD card 1 for videos and SD card 2 for photos. Thanks.
I recently bought the a7iv and i see the body mirror is not stable, it is totally shaking. Is it common in this model? or it is a damaged piece…? i am totally confused
Great video...I'm stuck in between getting the a7iv or a7rv. Love the auto focus and tracking which both have...I guess the biggest difference is 61mp to 33. What would you recommend? Thanks
There are some other differences other than megapixels. The A7RV has better autofocusing and has AI pose estimation. I actually just posted a video today talking about features and A7IV fixes that I'd love to see in the rumoured A7V. I talk a little about the differences between these two!
@StefanoLombardoYT I ended up picking up the a7iv for 2k practically brand new 1k shutter count. I went more for the lower pixel 33mp than 61mp because Im usually recording in more low light and more photos indoors. So the less noise for me was more what I was looking for. Plus I'm not a professional so I think the 61mp would be over kill for me.
@@chickenandricecrew9867 Good choice! I honestly do think the A7RV is overkill for the majority of photographers. It's overkill for me, I love my A7IV 🤣The RAW files coming out of the A7RV average at 100-140mb per photo meaning 10 photos is over 1gb. It's definitely overkill!

@seenthrujay If you can afford to do so, hang on to that Fuji XT-30II. I am a Sony a7IV portrait and events shooter with a number of Sony bodies. But when I travel or just go out to sightsee, I always grab my little XT-30II. Love the film emulations and it is a pleasure to carry around. Sony for pro needs, the little FUJI for fun!

I bought sony a7iii in end of 2020 but now I feel somewhat lagging behind in terms of video features and lack of flip screen is most frustrating for me also I shoot hybrid photos and videos so do you think upgrading to A7iv is good option or should wait for A7v sometime if sony releases it in near future ?
I think the Sony A7IV is a great option for you! The flippy screen definitely helps when shooting at different angles and still making sure your framed up properly. I think the Sony A7RV would be another great option, it has some minor improvements from the A7IV but it's also $2000 dollars more. I've been using the Sony A7IV as my main camera for almost a year now, I shoot both photos and all my videos on it, and honestly don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon. If you are interested in the A7RV, I will be testing out my friends and making a video on it soon, so stay tuned for that one!
Hi Stefano, Thanks for the interesting video. I got my new A74 yesterday and after about 10-15 mins of setting up the menu, it heated up pretty strong. Is this normal? I didn't take more than 15 pictures and no video. Thanks a lot for the reply. Regards Marian
Thats odd! It seems like some people have heating issues and some don't. I shoot with mine both in video and photo for hours and still have yet to experience heating issues. My last event I shot over 1400 photos and took video as well, never had any issues. Have you switched the auto-shutoff temp setting to high?
I had the same thing happen. I was just messing with menus and didn't shoot anything. I changed the high temperature setting and it was fine ages hadn't given me a warning. But, yea...I was genuinrly concerned about that. I had the screen closed but really? Idk. I'll update.
