Previously we used the tenta brella in ranked and determined that it's a really good weapon, so now in this video I'm gonna be playing Splatoon 3 ranked battles with the splat brella to see how good or bad it is within the umbrella class. Will my team dominate in Tower Control because of my umbrella skills? Watch until the end to find out!

Tenta actually has some use in VERY niche situations tbh I've seen it clear teams in X battles before

The first thing you said after your first game is exactly why the brellas are seen as bad 😂 In casual play (yes, even S+ is casual play) you can use whatever you like, to some success, but in Competitive, every game is going to be ‘people running the craziest comps and trying as hard as they can’ I do think you have potential as a splat tuber tho! keep it up. Edit: After the 4.0 update, it seems Brellas have become a lot more reliable, here’s hoping they can be good enough to shake up the meta!

Yeah true lol, it’s better running a setup that’s effective against the other team but I guess you could also become so good with one weapon that it can dominate even if it’s seen as bad, like in some of the matches I was playing I was handling some fights pretty well just because I was using the splat brella right
