Is the VETERANCY WORTH IT?! 2nd Panzer Gameplay- Steel Division 2 

It's a panzer division. It's spaghetti and meatballs with herbs on top. But you don't get the meatballs until you're a quarter through the noodles.

There’s a double drilling truck for 20 points that can be used to tow flak 36/43 in 16th luftwaffle. That plus the double 37 means for 220 points any plane that enters the side straight up dies before dropping their payload. As someone who hates plane spam it feels absolutely amazing lol.

You need to start playing pz divs as pz divs. Spam tanks. When you have the points, don't buy 1 tank or 2. Buy 5 pz4, 1 panther, 1 grille, a few armoured cars, 2 sturmpio and 3 pzgren. And with that, push to the spawn. Keep the inf in front of the tanks and keep tanks away from forests. And don't forget your AA far behind. Also, vet more agressively. In what world are you buying 3 IG33 and 8 grille? Yeah, this div has nothing unique exciting. It is just good. The only difficulty is that you can't deal with light armor in A and can't push in the open in A.

You were worried about the long game despite the income difference but you shouldnt be. Lehr doesnt have the slots to go long. 2nd Panzers advantage on lehr is sure vet but other than that you have MUCH better slot economy. Making you able to take more units while still having veterancy. My deck in this game had 0 supply and 0 arty as it didnt fit. But you were right that more than a better div being balanced is much more impactful on this map. As its a heavily favors balanced and defensive play with 2k and arty. The lack of 2k is hard on this map when you try to take the fights. But as balanced you didnt need to and could sit back and defend which you did well. There is no flags from blue side they can take by utilizing 2k. So the 2k problem wasnt really going to be an issue until you want to push. All the flags are so far back and isnt in the open where 2k can support it. only indirectly in the center but that hill makes you able to avoid the 2k. Then it was just a time issue until the balance income took the day. And even withouth balanced it would have worked. As the long game you can outlast with having more slots and arty. I tried to poke but wasnt really any flags more than a singletick I can take and thats tough as I need to fight in areas where the vetdiff matters. even on other side there is easier way to get double tick but still not enough making defensive deck the favored winner. Having trouble to thing what should have done differently on the strategic level. Maybe just build up force in a and then just Q move onto hill and hope you panick and stagger your forces back to stop the singletick but dont really see that working either. The reason for the sdkfz not killing the fw was because the aa gun was in the middle of some buildings hence it barely fired. On my side I had 1 1vet flakvierling and a 2 vet one hence they downed you planes. Also dont bother with people complaining about floating on this map. Its totally OK as its a static field and just build up enough points to win as you dont need those units on the frontline to hold hence its ok to float. Regarding 2nd panzer is it unique units you lack? Because unless its agaisnt a div that can spam cheap armor and you arent on an open map then the downside is not that big. On the upside your like every other panzerdiv that can bring more stuff despite everything being 1 vet more due to very good activation slots.I feel the main lack is rocketarty otherwise you are set. With the vet pgrens and sturmpios are still really good ontop of vetter mortars and arty. Not saying its unbeatable or anything like that. You say not a lot of 2k but you have 2 cards of 2k HE and as many panthers as you want. What is it that it lacks there? YOu also have IG33. Not many divs have more than that. Sure some unique divs like 4th fsj have better specials and other some better specialized cqc but thats not a large difference with the vt you have and ability to play around. Sure its not "wow cant be stopped" But what div is like that now except for SSB and similar? And if you say "its not as good as SSB used to be" its still pretty damn strong. So more or less its just a better panzerdiv in almost all categories. I think panzerdivs while werent all A were a solid decent divs unless they had shit inftabs. So this is to panzerdivs what 4th armored is to american divs. I think lehr could do good in a map with lots of townfighting and ability to take trippletick on the map though. But you say it would run over in A phase I think that its not axis divs but more soviet divs or western allied divs that 2nd panzer is afraid of as they can bring lots more light armor that has an impact on the front. Dont agree with the "then panzerdivs would already be op" Because panzerdivs are already being good but not S tier. Because the same vet on other divs would put you at like 30infunits. Im not saying its the new SSB or so so maybe im arguing against something that isnt actually the opinion you hold but I still feel this is just one of the A tier panzerdivs. Only held back by divs that are S because they are just bonkers. I think the 3 new panzerdivs are togheter with 26th and 20th the best panzerdivs in the game and all solidly in A or above.

From what i have seen from the meta veterancy (minimum 2) is mandatory at least for infantry.
