Seeing all that food fall to the ground, far out of Teeny's reach, was heartbreaking. It looked as though the few morsels she got she was at least able to chew, so she must have a few teeth. Teeny reminds me more and more all the time of baby Bobbin. I just pray she doesn't meet his fate. On another topic, we're hearing so much here about the spread of the corona virus. With your background in medicine, I'm hoping you know all the right things to protect yourself from getting sick. I think I can safely say that we ALL want you to stay safe and healthy. @@widowkeeper4739 Bobbin was one of Martha's babies. He disappeared at just 3 months of age and there was some speculation that a lage bird of prey got him. He was small like Teeny. Martha's had a run of bad luck, having lost her last 2 babies. The last one to survive was Button, who is Dopey's age.
Poor Teeny, although I think Tina is trying to compensate with caring and always carrying Teeny around. I think it is hindering her ability to forage properly. It is so unfortunate to see such a vulnerable beautiful little girl! Thank you Arroz for the updates on Teeny. PS is it just me or does Tina look a little round in the belly? Could she be expecting another little one for 2020? I'm not sure when this video was recorded but judging by the wind I would say it is into the winter months as well. To be honest I hope she isn't, although Rhesus are hearty primates there is so little opportunity for poor Teeny if she is indeed pregnant.

Me too. Totally surprised Tina dropped scraps Teeny could grab. Goes to show ya, these monkeys still remind me I can be totally wrong about them. I thought the same thing, I wish they were on the ground. Nice intervention getting those sweet potatoes to her. ;)

Looking back now and seeing all those chunks of sweet potato be thrown right out of the tree deliberately is painful. Especially when she grabs any in Teeny's reach and throws it out.
Dopey is such a handsome boy! Toby's coat is beautiful! Seeing how close Tina, Teeny, and Tiny got to our gang, made me wish that the were members of our troop. I believe life would be better! I think Tiny is probably too big for Tina to steal food from, but if not he's gotten very smart! Check out 5:50-6:09. It sure looks like Tiny deliberately hides whatever food he's got in his mouth from Tina when she first checks him, then moves his body so he can chew it without her seeing it. Smart boy! I hope Teeny learns this lesson in time too and the sooner the better. Like everybody else I hate seeing Tina take food out of her babies mouths, but I don't blame or hate her for it. Biological survival instincts are very strong and I wouldn't expect any hungry creature to overcome it. So I don't judge the lowest ranking monkeys in a troop, life is tough for them and I don't believe they are intentionally mean, just trying to survive. Nature has a system that works out best in the long run (feed mom first, baby benefits from the milk she can then produce), even if we don't like it in the short run. Tina's family is one of my favorites and I want all of them to survive and thrive. Must be that American instinct to root for the underdog. Or maybe it's not just an American thing, I don't know! 🐒❤️🐒

I love watching the monkeys and learning new things. There are quite a few times I actually laughed out loud, either from your commentary or what the babies are doing 🤭. I understand the hardships Tina has, but she really needs to be fixed, it's not fair to her babies 😔🐾
Wonder if she steals all of this little girls food like she used to do Tiny?? I use to wonder why Arroz couldn’t just so happen to have a few sunflower seeds in his pocket to drop out for Tiny when no one was looking. It didn’t seem like anyone would see if he just nonchalantly dropped a few.........

5:53 Notice how Tina was about try and steal from Tiny's pouches like she always has but Tiny said no way. Tina is the absolute worst mother. Tina doesn't even attempt to forage. She'd rather wait for a handout or steal from her offspring.
Loved this little series on Tina and Teeny I loved Tiny when he was a baby and still do he is so cute and turning into a handsome little guy. Teeny has the sweetest face I think I’ve ever seen so far I’m divided between Teeny and Tiny for Who is the cutest. All that aside I have a favorite part in this video it’s the part where Lenny looked at you through the bushes and then pops his little head over the bushes and the look on his face was almost like “yea I’m here what are you gonna do about it” then he was gone. I do have a question the flower that gives them the “Cheeto face” if you can could you show it I’d love to see this flower or if it’s shown in another video please let me know which one I’ve watched all your videos but can not remember if you’ve shown this flower or not. I have one more question which other baby was born around the time Teeny was? That would be a good comparison to hoe how small she really is. Thank you for all you videos!
