I think they're worth it and months on, I'm still impressed with it. Found your site tonight looking at your virdigris video. I enjoyed your video on Dremel/Ryobi. I used my Dremel today. A must for those who like collecting tools. I am in the States and interested in how various trades practice. I follow a plumber and more from France, drywall installers in Australia, and now a professional Handyman in the UK. So much to learn, tools for playing, but not enough time for all. Thank you.

It also blued and ruined the temper of the drill bit. I’ve obviously got some learning to do with this bit of kit. Thanks for watching and commenting Ron.

Nice looking tool, I have 3 (230v ) Dremels, I always buy them at carboot sales when I see them but I can see a battery tool would be very handy 👍 😊

Dremels are great Sparky. I always see powered tools at the car boots but am always too cautious about them not working, to buy them.

In the interests of safety, use the small wrench supplied with the kit to fully tighten the collet when the bit is inserted, and to loosen it when finished.

Is it just me or is that noticeably louder than a dremel? Do you notice any heating up after longer use?

Hi Beau. I haven’t noticed much difference in noise levels myself. But it’s been a while since my Dremmel died and me getting the Ryobi. Sorry mate, I’ve not used this for extended periods yet to know if it heats up after longer use. I’ll try to remember and respond if and when I do have to use it for a longer period.
